Might have a nyzul group ready to roll... Holy sh*t, I'm just two 4 tag miracles away from runic disk. And all of this pickup.... Surprises me how much players have improved.

My Static is supposed to be starting back up this Sunday...but if not, I'm shouting for Nyzul. If I'm on Thursday, I'm burning a couple of tags, too. Sick of sitting on my main job weapons with 12000 points needed. I don't have the time to spend on that crap.

I've started at 1 for so many people and then no one ever stays for 5+ that I remain stuck at that point. I have 2 weapons that need broken in, and I'm tired of being stuck there.

My static will be back in action Sunday for sure; 1 guy had computer issues this week. Hopefully we will be captains in a couple of weeks, if we're lucky.

I'll probably peruse the boards with frequency as it's far less time-consuming than unlocking mordant rime.

BBS is one of the more determined people I know. He'll be gone until he's ready, or he won't be back.

I remember the stress my wife was under when she defended her thesis. It was rough on me! I hope your wife does well...and that you find something soon!

Got my Snow gorget and beat Hydra. Captain is once again in sight.

Also, apparently Glanzfail. SE must be trying to keep us distracted with 10 new inventory spots in order to not notice the epic fail of mythic weapons.

I never said Glanzfaust was worth getting.

Surprisingly though, Glanzfaust is actually coming out 5ish % ahead of Destroyers in a meriting situation by utilizing Footwork to maximize the effect of the one-hit DA you get with the AM3 effect. Not something worth the time and money investment, in my opinion, but at least it's not a complete failure.

Using it on chariots is a waste of time. It limits your damage output to the point that you can't reasonably keep hate against other DDs weaving WS in or whatnot.

Footwork is affected by Haste, it's a change to a base delay of 480, with D+18 (before boots) and an attack/sTP bonus. Using equivalent gear in a Footwork build to a normal TP setup (sans dune boots) is generally going to be the optimum choice if you need to be using it (read: when TP is really a problem and you aren't concerned with a particularly speedy damage race, ie chariots). I used it when our group faced the Cerberus FL Assault to decent success, and would have probably done the same in AU44 if I were on MNK instead of BLM, but most HNMs it's not a concern and killing it faster via usual punching will generally be superior.

Weaponskills are afforded the new values despite their usual animations. It's fun to bust out a nice chunky Asuran Fists every 5 minutes with it (or even better, Dragon Kick if you're at 200+ TP, which *does* seem to get some additional effect from kick boots while under Footwork).

Since the activation rate for the extra attack on AM3 is so high but only good for one additional attack (unlike Faith Baghnakhs), the bonuses to Footwork are very synergetic with it, it seems.

And yeah, 5% is pretty meager for what it takes to get you there. But as your character's gear improves you're going to be bridging smaller and smaller margins of improvement, so if someone's serious about pimping out the job, it's good to know that it actually does in fact accomplish that, albeit in a way most people wouldn't expect.

Um... we were talking about whether the nyzul ws makes the mythic weapons crap. Since each weapon only has one ws, we're obviously talking about all of them. Insert another quarter to try again.

And I still don't see glanzfaust beating destroyers even with the third aftermath. Since you have to ws at 300 tp to get said double attack, you're throwing away 2 ws's to get that effect. (probably more than 2, since asuran>ascetics) I somehow doubt, that higher damage faiths are going to do more than 2 extra ws's. Maybe if your WS's really suck, I guess. But if you put enough into the job to get a mythic, you damn well better not be doing gimp WS's.

Maybe, maybe, set up specificly for the weapon, you might do sliiiightly more. But slightly more in your normal gear wouldn't be worth it. Slightly better in a specific set up, using footwork, with a freaking mythic, that's crap.

Plus, I'd like to see glansfaut vs spharai. I'm betting it loses then.

0/82 on herder's subligar. And that's the brown chests I was able toopen not counting all the "failed to opens."

Brown treasure caskets can blow me. I would however like to orally please those wonderful Blue Treasure Caskets who are the light of our lives.
