BAD playersFollow

Well no one had created one yet so I decided I would. I'm sure there are some not too friendly Garuda players out there, and if anyone knows of any throw it up here.

I don't personally know anyone that I would consider a BAD player, but there are a couple that have acted pretty crazy in the past. Cursing at LS members till they got kicked out and then following several around harassing them. If I rememeber the correct spelling his name was Leonio.

I have one bad player that made a valiant effort to make himself knownas the worst player ever:

FriendlyTyphoon

Short story: LFP in Qufim, he invites. He's a 23war/10mnk, but who doesn't have underleveled subs in Qufim (besides us good players :P). We get the party full then decide what to hunt. I knew I was in a bad party at that point, we couldn't decided. Someone finally led the way. FT here was talkin all crap and just being pretty stupid. So we get to our camp, the guy goes to pull, and what does our lovely Typhoon do? /sh "Don't pull a @#$@#$ giant you @$#%@#!". I'm dumbfounded, and leave. FT /t's me about 2 minutes later asking if I want to party (flag was back up). I say no, and he replies "i hate u u stuped" (word for word). I make a smart-ass response, with perfect grammar, only to be told "your a jap".

Needless to say, first person on the blist.


Wow, I'm really too addicted to this game now. I'm to the point of posting my horror stories. Oh well. Just look out for this jerk.

Ive only Blisted 2 people eventhough i should have done it to a lot more. Im a PLD and what bad players, rather inexperienced, do is voke right after i do in the beginning of a fight. Im not saying i cant hold hate, but its just harder from that point. Or pullers who use voke. So if you're a war in my pt and if i dont tell you, don't do it. If this seems rude to you, i appologize; it was not my intent.

I know a few bad players

Tarugoboom : Left our party after a few fights with no warning. He was LFP shortly after. Thats just rude.

Inserge and Synfulywykid(sp): Were just really rude to me and my LS buds while looking for mines key. Started to /sh that we were all noobs and cursing at us all.

Thats all I can think of at the moment. Thankfuly I have met and partied with more good players than bad.

I see I'm not the only one with experience with Friendly Typhoon.

First time I came across him, he was lvl 8 or so. My husband and I came upon him and another guy in W Ron. where they asked to join up with us. We said sure, and headed out to La Theine. The other guy left fairly soon, so the three of us proceeed to the lake there, killing rock eaters and the like.

Friendly Typhoon started begging us to follow him to a spot he knew. We said ok, go, but he never would, just kept saying Pleac follow me" Finally we said to heck with it, booted him, and went on our way.

He came back, begging to be let back in. The guy was obviously new, and we thought we could help him, so we took him back. A few minutes later, he asked to be made leader, so he could invite some people he knew. Wasnt a biggie, passed leader. He then asks what do I do, how do I invite people, the guy knew nothing. He finally got one guy joined up who was 4 lvls higher than us who promptly dropped.

He wanted to pull, and was pulling EP bunnies for little exp. This guy decided I was too high for the group ( at one lvl higher than him) and booted me from my own group!

The second time I came across him was on the ship from Selbina. He was now about lvl 13 or so. The ship sets sail, and he promptly jumps a water elemental. Just promptly calls for help, then dies and HPs.

Kinda sad to see he hasnt improved in all these months.

Haha, bad players. I made another post, but this one is from last night. I was pting in Kazham area with this RDM who made the pt. We are doing ok then a gob comes along. We zone and stuff then get back to fighting. After 2 kills the rdm lvls and runs off to Kazham to get a Spell that he didnt need for another lvl. So the 5 of us just kept fighting Mandys for a few minutes. He shows up in the middle of a fight on his choco and just walks around on it. I was getting pissed now and say "Get the fkkk off your damn choco!" He does and casts Invisible on himself and sits there doing nothing. I cant stand that crap so i say im gonna leave an rdm says hes gonna go too. The guy says "WTF ARE YOU LEAVING FOR?" (insert foot here) I leave and Blist him. Im not going to say his name because i hope he gets better, but ill never pt with the guy again.

No, Typical Elvaan is more like... Eh, they have a stick where the sun don't shine. A typical elvaan can be a good player, but at the same time they can be a prick aswell. S'all I'm saying.

Minimaru, you partied with him again? Garebeary is definately annoying, but I think its just because he's new. And I wasn't that white mage was I? lol

Since I've been in a Static Party since 50 I haven't played with too many bad players other than when I'm leveling my sub or my sub's sub. Speaking of which:

Eslant. A white mage I encountered awhile back in Kazham when I was levelling black mage. We were doing fine for awhile then we got some aggro from a smithy or 4. I died, the dragoon died, basically everyone died. I immediately HPed and changed to my 52 Red Mage at the time. I rush back out to the second jungle to find my roommate (28 thf and Eslant still alive).

Joking with my roommate I ask him how the hell he is still alive. I try to raise but I realize there are too many gobs in the area so I try to kill one (naked and no weapon, gah what stupidity) I promptly got beat down. I HP it and the drg does as well and changes into his level 53 Paladin. We go back out to clear a path and get killed by a higher level gob train (bouncers and such).

Finally I just tell everyone to HP it since I had already lost about 3k xp on my Red Mage. That's when I noticed the white mage was no longer in the group. Eslant somehow got back to Kazham boarded the airship and headed to Jeuno. Not a word to the group or anything. My roommate (leader of the party) sent him a tell and he went off on him saying that he didn't appreciate the way I talked to him. (see above comment about still being alive) My roommate explained to Eslant that I was not talking about him.

But he kept insisting that I was talking about him and not my roommate when I made the comment and I was the rudest person he had ever met and whatnot. Stay far, far away from Eslant.

I remember slug, I just blisted him and went afk, because I didn't have the time for a GM (I should have asked him how he knew, but hey.)

Icestars pted with me in altepa as a bard... complete dumbas[b][/b]s.

He casted two songs the entire time, Paeon and Ballad, bosted about how much +CHR he has, and when told to use more than those 2 songs, he blamed ME because the mages weren't seperated.

Lesse... I forget exactly who all is on my sh*taru list... but let's see.

Kristen: High level Mithra THF, always seen in THF AF armor, I've never partied with her but she seems to me, to be an uber bitch. And if I remember correctly she used the word/derogatory word of 'jap' when this level 70-sum BLM Tarutaru ended up getting this NM in Gusgen she wanted and I think had been camping, from what I understand is it might've been someone elses fault that she didn't get the NM (She was yelling/cussing at another person, NA.) But still, she went on being a bitch, and the fact that she has a Macro "/em beats the sh*t out of <t>" only makes me think even less of her.



Kristen happens to be a very nice player, you will be pissed if someone stole ur mob from you. i am in her ls, and she is very very helpful to the other. one mistake didn't mean anything.

Tarugoboom? is in my Ls. yeah he's picky sometimes.. that or one of us needed help and he went to come help. Trust me.. he's a good player.. though he's now doing Thf/Nin totaly ditching the Blm job.
So far I have ran into a bunch of bad players to many to name or remember. So far I have ran into several Bad Bard's and many a Ranger.. for some reason if you pick Ranger you have this desire to hunt continuosly without thinking "hey how much mana does our Mages have..?" doing Convert/Divine seal in a Pt is a damn scary thing let me tell ya.
Just remember if you can't train them boot them ;)

This is my guideline to a bad player :
WAR or PLD: /follow the target and goes afk without telling party on and off 5-10 minutes at a time.
WHM: subbed with bm NUKES instead of healing... and waste mp and causing linkage by spamming Diaga and Banishga
BM: doesnt know how to control dmg output, casting II and aga spells after first voke...
THF: Sneak/Trick attack of magic users, doesnt understand the concept of SATA by lvl 30, subbed with magic user.
RM: Subbing ninja and tries to do more physical dmg with buffs then being in the middle -.-
SMN: doesnt heal at all and doesnt support heal when asked to... while wackign the enemy with staff ...
RNG: Shoots all the way through the pull. only 1 shot!! please... firing as you move isnt smart.
Doesnt Know hwo to pull.
DRK: MOve around during fight, making it impossible for a SATA. Doesnt update armor, only weapon. Stands in the background casting spells and using up mana before going up and starting to wack it :/
BRD: Doesnt know how to seperate groups, Gives melees mages ballad throught the fight, doesnt have a instrament equiped.
Ninja: POOR, cant afford mass amounts of Shihei or have all his scrolls done.

Thats some of the stuff if you see in your party members, you might want to consider leaving... or... asking for replacement... these things are fatal to a party ... :/

ABSOLUTELY 100% true. That needs to be a guide posted on all FFXI websites, period.
(Oh and Nightshade did waste his time bring mobs on us and poor new person in pty didnt know better when that dick called for help. Oh and GMs are a waste of time, of course, but if they dont do something when we call then I will keep calling them, or hit Square where it hurts, the pocketbook.)

Ohhh yesss, I hate when people leave your party without warning then their flag is instantly up and they're shouting for another party. I've wanted to do that sometimes too with bad/newb parties in Valkurm but I never do (that'd be jus' plain rude), the party is usually so bad that we all end up dying and I just say that after we are all raised, I'm gonna look for another party, and most of the time the other party members say the same thing. We usually know when a party ain't gonna work.

GMs and their lack of action against noobs and bots etc etc is really startin' to tick me off. When I first learned of GMs I was happy to learn that there was someone with high authority we could call on do-badders, but the GMs just don't seem to be handling anything anymore. Just a "Hello how may I help you?" - "We'll look into it" type deal. Meh!

Pegasusx also claims to run the original FFXI casino.

Pegasusx has quite the bad reputation with the japanese i must say. We think he complains too much!

Just go hang out in Bastok and I'm sure you will hear Pegasusx /shout arguing. Once it got so bad we finally got a GM to come and intervene. After the GM left, Pegasusx and his buddy shouted some more profanity and then got a tele- out.

I hate that jerk i had thought he had quitbeing on FFXI a loooooooong time ago. A while ago and i mean a long time ago i had made a pt to try and promote a new kind of lvling. ( my own creation but thats another story) Well to make a long story short that broke down and we just decided on a normal pull and kill.Well while resting i feel the need to strike a conversation with the lovely mithra in our party (Dont judge me ;)! well kinda stupid to npt chat cause jaclass here feels that i am not aloud to have IN PT RELATIONS! >:P.when i don't stop this guy goes on and on about how i have some kinda of obsession My answer: Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo why does this matter? Pisses him off reeeeeeeal good. sp we grab an oynx qudav and we were fighting like usual and we accidently drag 2 veterans into the fray I SHOUT FLY DAMNIT! since i love to i tell them to go and i hold them off (WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE) <- Battle cry can't see a waste of sweet mithra! anyway he decides that its my fault that he died and starts cursing I got a good laugh outn of the following argument until I scrolled down onto my anger Marcos and Right in front of his fdace it Yelled: friendly typhoon youj are the weakest link and obviously a Jackass Goodbye! Then I see him (while mining after waiting a rough 15 minutes for the spawn to come up) mining over me!, i tell him dude, im calling gm on you. he goes: "ive been called on gm 30+ times doesnt matter." i said ok. fine... SO all my anger typed away, this guy sucks ass, dont help him he thinks hes so kool and after i mention about this thread, he starts acting nice, hes a pile of shiznatch. im so angry... -.-

Pld - those ones that think one voke and a flash is all they need to hold hate for a round.... and wont stand still for my fudiama.... =(
Whm - Divine+CuragaII when 2 people are in the yellow and the rest are in the white. @ lvl 41~.
BLM - missing escape. @ lvl 44... most of the time you assume they have it. but this one person says "O, i keep forgetting to buy it." that just sucks when you are WAY into the cn and get aggrod by an exoray that wandered in when he cast Thundaga.
Thf - i'm usually the only thf in pt, i hope i dont mess up besides the underlvled sub that will be remedied now that i have THII..... ^^
RDM - no dispel at lvl 41 against soldier crawlers.
SMN - never using blood pacts... when they have shiva, garuda, ifrit, and levi.... NOT ONCE!!! @ lvl 36~! our War tank could have really used that group blink...
Rng - when they think bone arrows in an xp group @ 35 is cool. could be worse i guess. o wait, they were using powerbow+1. "didnt want to pay for Greatbow+1."
DRK - they do always move during fudi.... and thats if you can get them to be your partner in the first place when most of the time the my SATAVB will kill the mob by the time we do SC. or the MB will.
Bard - never been with a bad one ^^
Ninja - forgetting to cast utsu and causing our whm lots of stress because of it.
DRG - not to be biased.... but i dont normally invite them to PT so i dont have much experience with them sucking or not, but most ppl seem to hate them ^^


Yes... these all all have happened... mostly when i was blm... but the names have been removed to protect the fragile ego's of the morons who were responsible for them (O.o)

Grover is an idiot. Send Strangeone a tell, ask him about Grover and doing Cbs Rank 3 dragon. Grover has NO say about ANYTHING to do with Shadowstar. Grover woudln't even know Shadow's abilites after a whole 5 minutes of partying and actually fighting something.

Oh, and Grover, tell the people here how shadow saved your life when you STUPIDLY made two HUGE trains.

1. Small world has nothing to do with what I said. I said EVERYONE. I was partying with people in Kazham when you did your little "xWAR/xRDM LFG" shout, and everyone in the party thought you were an idiot. When people in my ls heard about your stupidity with the dragon they went "Oh, I know him, he's an idiot".

I also love how you're not denying you forgot the warp scroll, but you still have yet to find a reason how it's our fault.

Of course you stupidily made trains. You were told to stop, let Shadow kill the mobs, and give you Invis. No! Not Grover! Grover would rather that Shadow ran for his life trying to toss a Cure III on him!

Not only did you never ask for sneak/invis, you also refused to stop when Shadow did tell you to.

And how the hell would Shadow have been able to toss Cure IIIs on you *and* continue to try to use Banishga on a mob if he was running AHEAD of you?

And don't even try the bullsh[b][/b]it that we didn't tell you till we were half way through Ghelsba. When Shadow was still going to take his brd he got an Instant Warp, and I told you to get one too.

Btw, in case you didn't get it, your sub sucks. You could at least go /whm and get more MP, the -na spells, Curaga + Divine Seal to keep hate on you when thing go bad, but your RDM is 90% useless. Most people think you're an idiot because of that.
