Keeping Alla Garuda forums?Follow

As the title said, will Alla be keeping a Garuda forum and any other merge servers? I guess personally, I would hate to see it go. It would still be a way for for us to keep our identity that we build for, to many years to think about.

I doubt they would keep the old server forums but it would be nice wouldnt it.
Garuda seems to be one of the few that actually is active.

An idea would be to just simply lock it and keep it on a view-only basis but unable to add/delete/modify/whatever already existing threads. Deleting it completely is too harsh and leaving it open for people to post new topics seems at a future point, unnecessary.

A good middle solution like the one I mentioned or something along those lines seems to be in order, any thoughts people?

Alla has announced that the Garuda forum is being "merged" with the Lakshmi forum May 22. All posters in the Garuda forum will have their names changed and post count reset to 0. Have a nice day.

Oh wait, that was SE. Nevermind.
