Gil Seller Message ???Follow

Hey Tsuzee, I also got the e-mail through the pol mail. Now the e-mail address I use is generic one that pol assigned, were talking 1 letter and 11 numbers. I dont see them sending to random e-mail up that length. If you ask me one of the SE systems has been compromised and info was leaked.

I had reported to a gm, he was glad it was reported, said he will look into the message, states he is unable to see our e-mail, ofcourse when viewed in game in hits the chat log so maybe he can read it there, gave gm the sender and the website.

edit: yes got a new message from opopo, and I had set my handle to only be searched by friends after the first message. I had also place block on first sender, and the new message still came through. This suggests they are doing these messages by another means than just searching for handles or they have stored the list of prev handles they had and are re-sending to them.

Assuming this is by handle at all, the only solution i see is to delete old handle, unlink all characters, create a new handle and re-do friends list. That is no guarantee of safety though as it is just a guess the rmt are working in that way.

edit again: per gm conversation after the second message, he suggested that I do a virus scan and change my password. I am thinking they are not fixing this and think it our client fault that it is out there.

2 of my 3 accounts also got this message. I'm not sure when this happened or if maybe it's always been this way but, i noticed that now when u /sea "anybody"
not only does it give u the option to invite or sending a tell, it now also says send message.. I looked up a random person that i saw run by me and sure enough it said gave me the option to send a message. Now i didn't actually attempted to send the message but i thought it was odd sein as in 4 years of playin i never noticed it before. Anyway .. that's how they might be getting the info.. requries no searching just noticeing the names of players around you.
