I remember first starting... after spending about 30 minutes trying to figure out a name, haha. And I started in Dec. 2004, way before Fire Emblem for GC came out, any of those who think I took the name from the mage in that game! =_=

But I remember wandering around Windurst, just gaping at the sights... The graphics at the time were just amazing! I remember meeting Jupitercrash, we were both around 7/8 (he was WHM, I of course BLM), and him trying to give me a shield. Of course, it didn't work, haha. He was convinced I was doing something wrong, before we noticed that it didn't say BLM under the shield :)

I remember meeting Doriana, with her Carbuncle... and was just like "WOOOOOW, SUMMONER!!!" Desant, as well, who helped me with a lot of things. He even gave me a bunch of gil and gear when he left, awesome dude. Byrthnoth, I believe when he was just a low-level RDM with no sub :) Partying with Esillyamused, who I still think had one of the coolest names :)

I think Tanthalas helped me to Jeuno for the first time, if I remember correctly :) He helped me with a ton of things early on, and I still talk to him every time I sign into MSN.

The Dragoon storyline, and unlocking the job, finally summoning my first Wyvern... so awesome. First advanced job I unlocked :)

Anyway, I'll keep the memories at that, though I have thousands more. I'm already posting more than what I should in 1 post for 100 pages :P

I don't know how many of you know Rhealana & Kupotaru, but they organized a paper run in Eldieme one night long ago. Those of us who were only level 50 were asked to stay on the steps near the entrance, while the higher level players went further in and killed all the liches. An Eldieme coffer key dropped, and I passed on it, not knowing I would need it later for my Paladin AF. They were nice enough to tell me that I could still get the key as long as I dropped and rejoined the party. It was the nicest thing anyone had ever done for me at that point.

Speaking of Eldieme and liches, I also recall a night where I was getting the paper for a couple other friends. The party was PLD, PLD, SAM, RDM, WHM, BLM. The SAM & the other PLD were a real-life couple who often duoed together; the RDM was a RL friend of theirs, while the WHM was a RL friend of mine. The SAM/PLD couple used a Fusion skillchain, upon which we managed to pull off FIVE magic bursts. I Flashed, the other PLD used Holy, the RDM cast Fire, the BLM used Banish from his WHM sub, and my WHM friend cast Cure IV. Much cheering followed, and the paper dropped soon after.

so many memories. lol i remember the airship battle. sighs. we finally decided to just call them all dry runs. no way on earth will we ever admit how many times it took. ok we lost track so couldnt if we wanted to.
we took a break for a static members surgery, went back about six months later and did it in two tries. (all the others were dry runs!)

As soon as I get my checks!

I won't have Demon's Souls for a bit though, I fear. I have to limit the games I get when I buy it, even more so now after the car accident =/

I think I've decided on MGS4, FFXIII, Heavy Rain, Uncharted, and GoW compilation. When things get a bit better, I'll get more, notably Uncharted 2, GoW3, Demon's Souls, and LittleBigPlanet.

Beating the damn airship after failing 9x (and losing a few levels here and there). Then going all the way from battle 6-4 through 8-1 in one night. THen from 8-2 through the end in a really really long night. My heart still beats fast when I do the airship battle!

Been moving right along at a good pace here :)
Airship was fun, but annoying 1/6 on it. Almost didn't get a vid of it, but last moment shibaa decided to record anyway, really glad he did cause I'd rather not do it again if I don't have to lol.

I recently got my GF to try crumpets, after she insisted she wouldn't like them. Well, she loves them and now my crumpet supply disappears a hundred times quicker than before.

You are the only person besides me I've ever heard talk about liking farming. I could kill bees in Rolanberry Fields for hours. Rolanberry Fields Forever~

I wonder how applicable your low level farming guide still is.

Yup already had enough fail footage for bloopers, figured why get more footage failing, but I decided to record anyway, AND WE WON THAT TIME. It was a great feeling.

Farming! farming and crafting are lots more fun that exping. I am completely dreading the new exping because I was all set to do my crafting again. Whm to 99 does not sound fun.

i'm gonna go farming right now.

I love my Whm and thought getting 75 meant no more exping on it. I could just enjoy the job doing whatever. Guess its back to the grind :(

I farming moss, was gonna farm spells for a friend that rejoined, but I need moss to get fame for mules to do gobie bags, to take stuff out of delivery so its not lost.

Reading this page has made me want Crumpets..
