Minimaru, the new Shadow Lord? I think soFollow

OK before I go into why I believe that Mini is the new Shadow Lord, I must explain a little about tarutarus first.

Tarutarus are a selfish race, fixed upon power. They tend to be strong in magik and feel that gives them superiority in the world. Basically they an inferiority complex.

We have all heard of the great plans of the Tarutarus to take over all of Vana'diel. This was a secret to many of their race became over confident and bragged of their great plan. As far as I know, they have not ceased in their efforts to engulf the world with their might.

Now in order for this plan to work, I would think they need to stop the two largest race, in form of population, Humes and Elvaans. Now Elvaans are tricky. Htey are strong of mind and feirce fighters, but to weaken the Humes, they attecked Bastok.

Bastok was not attacked in the form of direct combat, but by hurting the image of the gentle giants of Bastok, the Galkas. As I have stated already, Tarutarus are strong in magik, probably the strongest in all of Vana'diel. It would be very easy for them to make you think that the Shadow Lord was a Galka., giving us the image of them being evil. By inflicting damage on the image of the Galks, they have successfully hurt Bastok over all. Hence lowering the strength of the Humes.

This leads me to the present day, where we have a new Shadow Lord, one which we have taken in false pretense. For all of us who are rank 6, know tha the Shadow Lord is an "evil" Galka, or is this an illusion created by the Tarutarus to fool us?

Now to my dear friend, Minimaru. She is very kind Tarutaru, almost to kind. She gains the trust and love of those around her way to eaisly, why and how does she do this? Only her and Star Sybil would know that.

She first level'd a RDM to 75, making her a strong Tarutaru by any means. Then She turned to RNG, a formidble foe to fight, Now she is a mighty SMN. Why SMN? Well from what I have gathered in my travels throughtout Vana'diel, it appears that the Tarutarus have enlisted new help.

Fenrir and Carbuncle have joined the Tarutarus in their quest for power. They have given their spirits to Minimaru to control, as well as their ally avator's spirits. This could mean the doom for all other races within Vana'diel.

I remember once I asked Minimaru to help me venture to the Throne of the Shadow Lord and defeat him. She replied, " I'm busy atm, sorry." I was ok with this and found several other strong adventures to help me defeat him. I though nothing of this till I went to tell her the good news tht we had saved Vana'diel, she was in Xarcabard. Why I do wonder, maybe resting after a long battle with 6 mighty adventures.

She is in the middle of the whole plot for tarutarus to take full control of Vana'diel and turn us into servants of the Tarutaru nation. I only hope we have time to stop them.......

I for one dont intend to use Mindless Avatars to fight for me...

I personally prefer the sheer strenght of my Beloved goblin Smithy.

I aint like Other Tarus which is why j00 should fear meh most D: !

...Maybe I shouldn't have revealed my plan like that ... but heh, What Evil Doesnt do it eh? I'm just following the trend >_>

And If Mini's truly the Shadow Lord, Then she and I are ennemies. I shall let no good or Evil forces stand in my way!

Taru's are evil creatures.

For example: I make my entire living blowing helpless things up.

Repeatedly.

My first account of the story seemed very incomplete and just off; so I am fixing it some.

A tired and weary Tarutaru named Minimaru pushed herself thru Castle Zvahl. Meeting and defeating enemies as they presented themselves. Coming so close to death that she feared her quest would end early, too early. After what seemed like days of fighting and traveling she reached her goal, The Throne Room. The home of the Shadow Lord.

She forced the door open using magic words passed to her by Star Sybil. She knew that she failed all the hopes and dreams of the Tarutaru nation would be crushed. I must go on kept running thru head as she stood face to face with one of the evilest creatures in all of Vana'diel.

She made one simple request to him, "Join the Tarutaru's or fall to me." An eerie laugh filled the room and he walked around her, studying his latest foe. A thin smile crept across his face, then without warning, his sword fell upon her.

But to the dismay of the Shadow Lord, it was nothing more then a shadow of the Tarutaru. She released her great sword from its holster and took her battle stance.

"I shall ask one more time, help us or die"

From behind that smirk came her answer, "Help you, I need no allies, Vana'diel is mine to do as I wish, your soul shall feed me."

The fight seemed to go on forever. At one point she missed a parry and was forced to heal herself in mid battle. His attacks seem to never end and his strength was incredible. For hours they exchanged blows with each other but slowly, the Tarutaru started to prevail. The Shadow Lords parries were getting slower and his magic weaker till finally, he fell before her, defeated.

"I shall never serve you Tarutarus."

"Then you shall die!" And from the lips of this Tarutaru came one last spell to enchant her sword. With a single and mighty swing, the Shadow Lord's head rolled away from his body. Stopping as it peered at her. Still smiling as it did. She knew she had succeeded. She started towards the door when something caught her eye.

A small thin cloud rose from the place his head should have been. She turned slowly to see. The cloud flew through the air with tremendous speed and engulfed her. Taking her breath away. Probing her mind, changing her somehow, she was not sure how. Her senses where tingling, she was scared for the first time in years. Her thoughts ran to Star Sybil and how she failed the Tarutaru nation. She knew this would be her final resting ground, like many other brave adventures before her.

But then it stopped. Her body stops tingling, the wounds from her fight had healed. She knew what had happened, she was more powerful then any Tarutaru ever. Her body raced with new sensation, her mind was keener then ever before, she could sense every living thing around her. Was this real? Was she the new Shadow Lord? It could be nothing else, she was the New Shadow Lord, one without limits, one of which Vana'diel had never seen before. She left the Throne Room of the Shadow Lord, but not before chanting magical words so strong that no one in the history of all magic had used them. The illusion was set and the new Shadow Lord headed back to Star Sybil, back to her Tarutaru nation.

She contuined her venture to see Star Sibyl, she must speak with her. After pasing through the archay that seperates Windurst Woosds from Windurst Waters, she looked and gazed at the wonder of Heaven's Tower. She hadn't seen its beauty in months. It did her heart good.

She walked on pas the Auction House, watching new Adventurers looking through it wears. The first though that slided into her mind was whether any of these adventurers would one day oppose her. She quickly pushed it out an coutuined over the bridges to Heaven's Tower.

Along the way she saw a little Tautaru fishing, she watched her from a moment, then her rod broke. The Tarutaru started crying, watched with wonder at the site. The Tarutaru exclaimed that was her only rod and she wouldn't be able to fish anymore.

Pulling a small crystal from her pack, she took the broken rod in her other hand. Then saying 2 words of magic, she press the broken rod together and the crystal, with a pop, the rod was whole again. She handed th rod to the girl wih a smile and turned to walk away. The girl let out a cheer as Minimaru said 3 different words of magic and gained the enchantment of flee, her speed increased and she hurried towards Heaven's Tower.

Upon corssing the bridge to the mighty tree, she hard her named exlaimed. SHe stopped knowing who it was. She turned to see a lengthy Evlaan behind her. She turned back towards the tree and made a face that would make a child cry. SHe did not have the time for this. Turning back she exclaimed, "Hello SirUmito."

Wth a solem look he answered, "Where were you earlier? You wre expose to meet me in Lower Jueno to party."

Digging deep to make the most real smile she could, "I was busy. We shall party tomorrow I promise. I must go now."

With that she turned and walked forward before he could answer, rushing to Heaven's Tower's entrance. The last tim she passed through it's magical entrance, she remembers feeling amazed and shocked but as she entered this time, it was different for her.

Once inside she walked right pass the fountain that she always said (Hello!) to herself in. THen upon entering the reception area, she didn't even glance at Kupipi as she demanded the door be open and Star Sybil be informed of her avirral.

She walked through the door and up a few steps before a though entered he mind. SHe spoke he two words for flee and found it would not work. They must have some sort of timer on them she though. Swearing to herself, she walked upwards towards Star Sybil's office.

Now for a Hume or Elvaan this walk was easy, but each step for a Tarutaru was almost to walking steps. By the time sh reached the top, she was exhausted, she sat to rest some before moving on.

She looked up towards Star Sybil's office and started walking forward, Where she was met by Semiha Lafihna, Star Sybil's personal body guard. Minimaru did not like her and they had never gotten along. Minimaru looked at her and with a flick of her wrist said, "Move now!"

"Who are you to give me orders? I will let you pass when I want." was the respone Minimaru got.

Annoyed, she said four words of magic and watched as Semiha Lafihna was transported to another place, where even Minimaru wasnt sure. She smirked and then walkdd to the door, taking the handle into her hand and pushhing it open slowly.

When the door opened up, she could not believe the site she saw before her. There on the other side of the room was Star Sybil, accompanied by Fenrir and Carbuncle. She only had the chance to meet Carbuncle once but never Fenrir, she though him to only be a lengend. When the door was fully open, Star Sybil turned and saw Minimaru. Her eye's brightened and she exclaimed, "Minimaru!" as she rushed to embraced her. She wrapped her arms around a tiny shocked Minimaru, who was still to stunned to embrace her back.

Star Sybil took notice of this and stepped back. Looking from Fenrir to Minimaru and seeing what was happening. "Minimaru, I have great news for you and the Tarutaru nation as a whole."

Shaking her quickly to try to clear it, she answered, "Star Sybil I have great news to tell you and I must tell you right away. I have traveled many weeks to see you."

"Oh myaru! What kind of news could this be?" Star Sybil answered with a shocked expression. In the back ground Fenrir and Carbuncles ears perked up. Mininmaru though this was odd.

With a wave of your arm, "Please sit Star Sybil, this story shall take a bit to recall." Her and Star Sybil sat on cushions as Fenrir and Carbuncle moved closer.

Minimaru started her story, telling her tales of her fight with the SHadow Lord, what happened after andthe spell of illusion she placed on The Throne Room. Star Sybil answered in simple nods as not to interrupt Minimaru.

Minimaru told of her travels back home and her encounter with Semiha Lafihna. Which mad Star Sybil gasp as she called someone in and whispered to them. Whisking them away, she apologized and told Miniaru to contuine. After finishing, she let out a sigh and simply asked, "What I am to do Star Sybil?"

"This is a puzzling situation. Fenrir, Carbuncle do you ahve any ideas?" turning her slowly to each.

With puzzled looks neither answered. Star Sybil sighed softly, "Mini before I go on I shall tell you of the great news I have." She looked at Minimaru with child like eyes, "Fenir and Carbuncle have agreed to serve the Tarutaru Nation in their efforts and we have agreed that you are to carry their power." She stopped for a dramatic pause.

"They shall enter into a pact with you and upon doign so, grant you the power of all the avators. This is a great gift that you must work with," reaching for Minimaru's hand. "Please place you hand on Fenrir's forehead, don't be scared."

Minimaru reached forward, placing her hand upon his rough fur. She was shocked at how gentle he seemed, she was not scared till she heard a voice in her head. "Child do not be scared, I am Fenrir. i shall grant you my powers to help your efforts. Use them wisely and they shall serve you well."

With that his forehead started to glow, she tried to remove her hand but was unable. Then suddenly, her hand tingled and Fenrir dissappeared. Almost as sucked within herself. She gasped.

Next she was instructed to do the same with Carbuncle and the proccess was repeated. Her bodyt tingled again and Carbuncle disappeared within her.

She stopped exhausted, she couldn't stop thinking how much more powerful she would become. She was meant for this, this is her calling. A tint of red rushed over her gentle eyes and disappeared. looking back to Star Sybil, she bowed to her before noticing the worried look on Star's face.

"What is wrong Star Sybil?" minimaru asked.

Looking at Minimaru with a worried expression, "I have been thinking of your new situation and have decided. You shall be locked away in Inner Horutoto Ruins behind a magical door. You shall stay there homing your magic till I feel you are ready to come out and help the TaruTaru Nation," looking into Minimaru's eye, she swore she saw them turn red.

"We need you trained. We need you to be ready for the battel that lies ahead. We aren't doing this as a punishment Minimaru, this is to help you. You need to train yourself, do you understand?" She looked into Minimaru's eye, and she became scared.

"So you want to lock me up in a room to play with avators all day? instead of helpiong the Tarutaru Nation out here?" Her eyes went completely red. Star Sybil started to shake.

"How dare you! My power now excceeds any and all Tarutarus alive. You are no match for me and yet you think you can lock me up?" Her body was tense, a table to the background splintered. Star Sybil walked backwards.

Lowering her head slightly, "You are no match me for me anymore,a nd I have no use for you anymore. Either does the Tarutaru Nation. You are too weak, we need a a real leader, we need me. I shall fix this problem now." silently speaking 3 words of magic as Star Sybil tried to speak. She was scared out of her mind.

When Minimaru finished speaking the words, the sky went red and flames engulfed Star Sybil. She cried in agonie. Then fell forward. Her lifeless body turned to ash as Minimaru turned towards the door.

She walked out with an evil grin, knowing no one could stop her, no one. She pushed the door shut and whispered four words of magic, similar to the ones spoken at The Throne Room. Then turning, she headed down the stairs. Her eyes glowing with a fire that could almost burn through anything she looked at.

I killed the Star Sybil?! duuuude I'd never kill the Star Sybil! I <3 her so much omgomgomg~ I can't be that evil XD

I'd never turn that evil! ... thankfully this is just a story, and I am the total opposite of evil in-game/irl. But the Shadow Lord turned out to still be good hearted, right? in the cutscene, Raogrimm came back an junk, even just for a lil bit.

I'm scared of Minimaru because she told me last night she eats Orcs.

Omg just when I thought it couldn't get any better XD

I know Cloudstrif, dunno the other two though, but amagaw keep writing.

While bowing, Minimaru starting chanting several words...then she stopped. She looked up as yellow bands of light surrounded her. She turned to look back and saw a small Tarutaru running towards the group protecting the Chateau.

Kwenn hurried to join his friends. He had come at just the last minute and cast the spell Stun upon Minimaru. She smirked as he joined them.

"You have nothing but showned yourself as a traitor to the Tarutaru nation. YOu will be the last to die and you will die slowly." She glared evily at Kwenn.

As she was speaking, she failed to notice Reevi speaking words to the spell Silence.

"You will all die......." She stopped mid sentence turning her gaze to the Redmage Reevi. She was silenced.

She drew her mighty Joyeuse and lunged toward Reevi. As she was in mid air, she caught something out of the corner of her eye as Cloudstrif was shouting at her. She turned to attack him.

Cloudstrif drew his own Joyeuse, blocking her swing easily with his shield. She stepped back undaunted. She lunged forward again at him, this time connecting with a mighty blow.

Cloudstrif stumbled backwards a few steps then shouted aat her again. CLoudstrif hurried to speak the word for FLash. Minimaru saw a bright light in front of her. She was temperly blinded. She swung 4 times at CLoudstrif, missing all of them. She cursed.

Kwenn was busying chanting words for the spell Thunderaga III. Just as he was about ti finish, Minimaru turned her gaze to him and hit him with a furious blow that knocked him to the ground. He struggled to regain his blanaced as she sneered at him.

Cloudstrif yelled at her again tyo provoke her attention at him. Yuffi was hurrying to cast a spell of Cure upon Kwenn.

Reevi was quickly chanting thru a list of wrods. Casting spell of Paralyze, Slow, Blind and Gravity. All of which had failed minus that of slow. Then suddenly Minimaru's silence wore. Reevi failed to notice until it was to late.

She looked over at Reevi, spoke 3 words qquickly and Reevi feel dead upon the ground. Kwenn gasped as his friend laid dead on the ground. He quickly shouted the word for Stun and Minimaru stopped.

Then suddenly running from the west towards the battlefield was a Mithra wielding to Axes. S/he was running quickly as s/he could. Minimaru looked towards him/her just as s/he went to run over a curb, s/he tripped. Lunging forwards towards the ground dropping an Axe that sailed through the air. It landed right in front of Minimaru.

She stared blankly at the Mithra lying there on the ground. SHe bent forward and picked the Axe up. Judged it quickly, then tossed it over the railing into the mighty river that flows through San d'oria.

Cloudtrif bent over to help Mefisto to his/her feet. Mefisto dusted himself/herself off and drew a Greataxe that was slung upon his/her back.

Minimaru just laughed, "Is this the best you can offer me? A dead Elvaan. A Mithra who can't even stand. Just give up and stop wasting my time.'

This just keeps (About to borrow a phrase from Chixxor's previous avatar) getting more badasserer.

But let me rephrase my last post.

I want to be in it ; ;

Kolvar stands up, looking all manly and hunk beyond hunks, and dustes his pants. Minimaru looks at him oddly, twisting her head to the side slightly.

"Those wouldn't happen to be the Duelist Pant would they?" she asked simply.

Looking down Kolvar answers, "Yes!"

Minimaru shooted him an evil glance, "Why are you here?"

"Minimaru, I know not what has caused this change in you but you will not proccedd any further. The King has left San D'oria while you fought Cloudstrif and his protectors." he answered coldly.

Minimaur cursed under her breath. She watched as Kolvar reached into his pack and pulled out a some various pieces of armor. She regonized one piece as a Scorpian Harness. He fastened it to his well build body. She took a seat on the ground.

"What are you expecting to do? Stop me?" she asked simply.

Stoipping for a moment to fasten his Werewolf Belt on, "Mini, this can't contuined. If I have to give my life to stop you, then so be it."

Finally taking a shield off his back and drawing his Joyeuse from it's sheath. She stood up just as he reached into a small pouch on his belt and used a tool for Utsemni (can't spell, leave me alone). Suddenly three shadows appeared infront of him.

She reached to draw her own Joyeuse forward, he spook quickly, "Don't. Rest yourself first. I expect a fair fight."

She stopped, judged him quickly, "This wouldn't be a fair fight for you no matter how tired I am, but I will rest myself shortly"

She sat down on the ground again. Kolvar did the same, watching her.

"Remember the first time we met Minimaru?" he asked.

She looked at him for a short time, "If I remembver correctly, Umito introduced us. But why are you bringing such useless things up? It won't change what I must do."

"This isn't you Mini. You would never do such a thing. You have left a trail of death where ever you go," he breathly heavily. "I was able to save the Tarutaru WArrior you attempted to kill in La Theine Plateau. Why would you do such a thing?"

SHe sighed softly, "You know nothing if what I am doing. I kill those who would dare to stop. Now or in the future," she laughed softly. "You know I will have to kill that Tarutaru again? I could sense something deep inside her. Something that most new adventures will never possess. SHe was a threat to me."

His jaw dreopped for a moment. Then his face went blank and stood up, turning his back to Minimaru. Making a gesture to the guards at the door to the King's chanber, they opened the door and dissapeared.

"Mini, this will stop here. I can't allow you take anymore innocent lives." Glancing down at his finger, he twisted a tarnished wedding ring slightly, smiling.

Minimaru jumped to her feet and quickly drew her sword. Kolvar turned his back and spoke several words as the ground rose around him, surrounding him. Minimaru did the same.

Next a multi-colored shield appeared in front of Kolvar, he lifted his sword up as he spoke 2 words, lightning rose from his hand and surrounded his sword. Minimaru smirked as she did almost the same.

"Mini, I am sorry I must do this," he bowed to her.

Laughing she responded, "I am not. I knew we would meet and I know this will be the last time you live."

he lunged forwards swinging her sword down onto Kolvar, he parried her blow to the right easily.
