Yesterday I didnt play because of the AH maintenence and I needed to buy new equipment to continue lvling, and today I get on all happy to lvl rng and bam.... i remember it's maintenence on Garuda. Why don't the japanese have to go through this!?

Ya why dont the Japanese players or rather side of the world deal with this?? Its so unfair. Ok I can see "well they have had it longer" so..? that's b.s. Switch 'em around. One month or update we get.. the next they get it. Only fair right?!?!? what does our american $$$ mean squat to SE??
Maybe if we get some kinda email rally cry to SquareEnix saying we are sick of getting the crap end of the stick with Updates. Just once I'd love to see "Starting at 22:00 till 06:00 pst there will be server maintence please log out correctly". I log out at 11pm usualy durring the weekdays because of work so that one hour loss means nothing to me. The Jp or rather Asian side of the world gets what for down time?.. next to squat. Lets just hope this damn update doesnt take longer like the last one and like the AH update last night.. /groans

I don't think there's an update, this is server maintenance. It's when they actually tear apart the server equipment and perform hardware updates, do routine cleaning, defragment the numerous hard-drives, etc.

Updates and maintenance like this dont really affect me .... because they are ussually on the first 3 days of the week ( mon - Wed ) and Im always at school all day and I cant play.... so im blessed....
