This post has been made memorialize a wonderful, vibrant spirit that was taken away from us much too soon.

Lady Xaevya, member of the Knight Defenders of Vana'diel, fellow Garudan, dear friend has passed away on Saturday August 14th, 2004.

My prayers go out to her family and friends, that their burden of grief might be carried with strength. That the terrible shock of her sudden departure would be eased into knowledge, understanding and hope.

To those that knew her in KDV knew her special ways of creating happiness and laughter out of thin air. One of her key phrases I remember her repeating was "Pay it Forward". When she and I went through her Rank 5 run she insisted on letting her benefactors know that she planned to "pay this forward". I believe she accomplished that task before her passing- if not in any mere tangible way but by the warmth of her memories that will permeate all that she affected.

If anyone has any memories they would like to share please do so.

I must say I am still having difficulties coming to grip this. I had spoken to her only a day before her tragic accident speaking about our friendship. Obviously...I had no idea how this would be the last conversation we would ever have again. She was definitely a friend of mine who always found a way to make me smile or laugh. The beauty of her was who she was inside. It radiated out to everyone around her and there was no denying the strength of her soul and aura. I admit when something like this happens to someone so grand of a person and so special you question the reasons why they have taken away from us. All I can think of though is something another friend said upon hearing the news "There is another angel watching over us now" Those words comforted more than anything because there is no one I would want more watching over me than Xaevya.

She shall always be remembered by myself, her friends and loved ones and always have an existence in my heart. I hope all that knew her hold her close to their heart as well and think about how great of a person she was and how she made you smile because I know she did. Celebrate who she was and remember her strength and have that pride and strength she had help carry you through this time of grief. May her soul rest in peace and she watch over us all...

I would like to send my condolences to Xaevya's family and friends. I only knew Xaevya froma party in Khazam, in which she was always talking about wanting to improve her character and gameplay skill. Her attitude towards others was extremely unique. She was one of the only people i know that has ever been so vibrant everytime i have spoken to her.

Her happiness was nothing less than Awesome! she was always wanting to help others and was happy to talk anytime. Xaevya will always have a place in alot of peoples hearts.

THANKYOU XAEVYA FOR YOUR WARMTH TOWARDS MYSELF AND OTHERS.
