So I figured I finish up FFIX this evening. I take my 1337 team and head through the final dungeon area. Wipe up all the guardians within just one attack round. I then proceeded to break off Kuja's **** like the little **** he is. Ultima cheap shot aside.

I then learn I have one more fight against some want to be God. I'm thinking about what I'm going to eat for dinner at this point.

As I'm lifted up off the ground and see the **** I'm still thinking about dinner. I make my first round selection and before I even attack once he does some "Cross" something a rather attack.

Who's bright idea was it not to allow for any type of death protection equipment. What a load of ****

*goes of to make something to eat*

Didn't log on last night, spent the night making new art and watching the new Ghost Hunters, which rocked.

Morning, last night was 50/50 in sucking and being decent.

Started off with an ODS run and lo and behold I /randomed the first orb and someone got too close before we were ready to fight. Orb lost, pt broke, so no luck on that.

After that I xp'd for a little bit getting to within 9k of 68 on SMN. Then did Golden Savage Assault twice for crappy drops, it's ok though because I am pretty close to the item I want.

All in all I say I still had fun so it doesn't matter I didn't make much gil.

My last expensive impulse buy was my PS3 and Marvel: Ultimate Alliance in January. A month later my TV started becoming possessed, it like to randomly change volume, color settings and turn on and off even when there are no batteries in the remote.

Yeah I think my TV is possessed also. It changes the view function on it's own all the time, going to wide screen instead of full. Watching TV it's ok but playing FFXI it takes out the bottom text screen so I can't see what or who I'm talking to.

It's a 55" Sony Wega HDTV too so maybe I can sell it to someone that doesn't mind widescreen, lol.

I've got a Samsung 46" DLP HDTV, my only regret is buying it before 1080p was made standard. :( It's got a "game mode" which is perfect for color settings and processing speed. Though it is a little hard to see from certain angles.

Widescreen is awesome :P I can't stand TV in 480p fullscreen now...

I think I'm gonna splurge when I buy a new house and just make a movie room with theater seating and a projection type display. My fience and I have been talking about it and I think it would be perfect for playing FFXI, movies, and such.

Now... where did I put that winning lottery ticket???

I play games on a 24" Flat Ultra Sharp Widescreen at 1900 x 1200 Resolution. It's pretty nice. :D

I do need to get an uber TV soon though for the living room.

I have seen some pretty sick theatre set ups, that sounds like alot of fun Alliam.

I'm afraid if I add anything more to my room I'll burn the house down. I've already been tripping the breaker once a week, though that did get better once everything was in a surge protector. I want to get one of those setups where all the speakers are embedded in the walls. /dream

Yeah the wall speakers are a definite must. I actually want to draw up some plans for a house to be build and that is going to be in the plans. as well as a teired floor for theator seating with couches (yes I have probablly seen cribs too much).

I also want to set it up in a soundproof room without windows so it all works perfectly. This is of course what I want, who knows what I'll end up with, haha.

I guess the best thing is that she wants the same thing I do!

I will say that taking this job up here present me with the ability to have two things I have always wanted. One is a home with a basement and the seconded it a kick **** theater/game room in said basement.

I plan on just renting for the first couple years while I pay off the credit card and save up like crazy. I’m already having my dad draw up the plans for the home I want. I never though having a father that headed up a drafting department of a College would be helpful.

Land is **** cheap up here that I’m going to enjoy my life up here. Being singe sure does have its benefits. Smiley: grin

I have been playing on PS2 since the game was released here. When I tried playing on my Laptop and PC I went 50/50 on it. While it does look better and run better, I was stuck in the comfort zone of my PS2 for the past couple years. I bought a 360 controller and played that way but still, I am just too use to my good old PS2 controller/keyboard piece from Logitec. Now of course if that could be plugged into my PC or laptop and work perfectly then maybe, just maybe there would be hope but I don't see it.

If I can set aside enough cash to cover my account for 4 months in the next two or three weeks I may just do it.

I won't be able to play at the dorms when I get back at F.L.E.T.C. though. Only place that has a hot spot is the campus bar (aptly named "The G Bar")

I have also though about either starting a new character on another server or maybe a server move...

Radio shack sells Console Controller adapters. I use a ps2 controller for running around and fishing.

I picked up the newest Vana'diel Collection for like $25-$30. Something like that. It was at EB games. =)
Just a thought: Is it only EB and Best Buy that got the collection? Cuz I checked at other places and they looked at me like o.O "The whatta?"
