OMG! The Lag inside the Crawler's Nest is just un-Freaking-believeable. I was Partying inside one of the many tunnels and I do believe that poor worker crawler was killed by my pt's "MIND BULLETS" cause when the Mob hit the ground, no one's weapons were drawning. I know we kicked A$$ but come on!

To be honest the lag everywhere is Bugging

this Galka is outtie!

Yeah the lag was ridicolous, Gorgoshton must have taken a crap in the corner of the CN and worker must have died smelling it when he walked by...

nothing like a good tenacious d quote. or two.

turn off as many chat and effect functions as you can while still maintaining your job. personally, i usually have in battle effects turned off, and only special actions turned on for chatting. it gets me through just about anywhere.

Hey Gorg.. it was a good partying with ya.. even with the lag..

I been lagging in CN bad too.. my radeon crapped out so i put in an old Geforce2 and turned off/down all the effects but its still unreal..

My Receives go to 0 all the time.. i'm like, my receives shouldn't be related to my video card?! Thats the network card.. or are they?

I think a lot of it is just that the server is overloaded.. but my buddies sharing my connection arent having any problems at all with their receive rates..

I'm even getting crappy response times before i even get in game.. while trying to get through the POV menus. Its like.. it didnt do this on my radeon..

Then i remembered that some other online games use the video fps as a timer for other things. Like how on NS, your jetpack ability was better with a good video card then a bad one.. and i started thinking.. did they build ffxi such that how much bandwidth you get from the server is dependant on your screen update rate? perhaps thinking that people with crap video wont notice crap connection rate as much..

What do you guys think?
