(THF puller) <t> {Sighted} {Pirates} {Attack}
He sees himself a bit of a Pirate^^

(DRG First-voke) {Up} {Up} and {Away} (Superjump)

(MNK) HADOKEN!!!! (Chi-Blast)

They always seemed funny to me^^I don't have any macros aside from TP alert.

State the way you deal with things, and people get all upset.

Wow.

I mean, wow.

If you don't care if you end up on my list, neither do I, really.

Go ahead and play the way you want, more power to you. I'm going to do /the exact same thing/ if you don't mind.

I don't like dealing with other people's emotes when I'm trying to concentrate on tanking a mob or smacking a mob with my axe. And I'm the criminal.

S'cool with me. Get off yer high horse.

Menu >> Config >> Chat Filters >> Filter Emotes

It'll fix that nasty lag problem, and keep you from seeing other people's emotes while you exp.

That's like saying any prick can /sh "IM RICK JAMES B I T C H" because you can just 'filter' it. By the way, Emotes are quite useful as a form of communication when it's not being abused by some dumbass. Why should we have to cater to the idiots? I got a bright idea, why don't we just filter everything? Yeah.. >_>

It's called an opinion dolt, that's what you express on a fscking forum. You're right, you can do whatever the **** you want, but that works both ways kid. If I ever saw you PT near me and using a /em macro, you'll be on my /blist immediately.

Good. And thank god for small miracles.

My favorite macros are Jonova's.

I don't remember them word for word but, he's a bard so they are something like:

"Classic hits like [ Ballad ] only on WJON."

^^

Stupidest macro award goes to Arhtim -- "/p Using vaginal sercreations to get < t>'s attention!" for provoke. YES, "sercreations," lol.

Most annoying - anyone who uses <call > or <call 1> in a macro you use often, or in multiple macros

I only have 3 macros out of all my jobs that have a /p in them. I like to keep everything silent so that if I do see any blue, I know I should read it because it might be someone saying something about an add.

/p {Convert} in 2 seconds!

/p {Found It!} <t>! <call14> (call14 is a soft ding)

/p Attempting Sleep, do NOT touch my target!

Voted #1 most annoying macro in the world...

/p Give me power!!! <call4>

Mine are pretty standard, {Accuracy Bonus} for Madrigal, {Attack Bonus} for Minuet, etc. But there are 2 that constantly get laughs for (both are in my White Mage macro set):

1. Blink/Stoneskin
/ma "Blink" <me>
/wait
/p Try and hit me now!
/ma "Stoneskin" <me>
/em laughs wickedly.

2. Reraise
/p Need to cast reraise (150mp)
/wait 2
/ma "Reraise" <me>
/p I AM IMMORTAL!

That "Gimme Power" macro sounds familiar. I remember I saw a war/mnk use that in Yuhtunga but it was in a "/s Gimme Power" macro and yes he did use it pretty much every 15 seconds. I told him it'd be best to just use an /echo macro. Hopefully he didn't think I meant /party.

LOL. Guess where I saw it? In Yhoater Jungle. The worst part about it was he had a call in there, and that was VERY annoying.

My roommate (Beckler) has a pretty good one:

/p "Give me the ******* Microwave!" {Tachi: Goten}
/ws {Tachi: Goten}

My own personal favorite is, its from a skit by the comedian Eddie Izzard:

/p "Cake or Death?"
/ma "Banish II"
/wait 3
/p "Death please."

Darkslde (And yes, I am spelling that correctly) had my all-time favorites. Things like;

/p To irk a God is to beg for extermination!
/ma "Firaga" <t>

Always made me take notice. He had multiple macros for each element, so he could mix it up and they never got boring.

There's also a mule called Lemmingman hanging around Bastok, that has 60+ /em macros, followed by the famous /panic motion.
He walks up to the AH and spams a few dozen at a time before logging, and manages to irritate a good portion of the population each time.

I have yet to /blist him, I look forward to his Legendary Hip Thrusts and Waltzes of Eternal Angst every time I head into Bastok. Always a bit of comedy to be had.

I don't have any emotes for my party macros cept my "/em gets down with her bad self /panic motion /welcome motion" for when I level cause I don't want to see my macros all the time. I do have a couple that I will do in town or when I see someone I know:

/em hugs <t>

/em does the Cabbage Patch
/blush motion <-- my taru actually does the cabbage patch when she blushes it's soo funny to me

With my taru, I have this macro that I always find entertaining. :)

/cheer motion
/em wants a hug.

Run up to any tall character (non Taru), and use it. :) Works wonders on Mithra. :-D

I would love this one....if not that Every. Single. Person. who likes Eddie Izzard uses this quote. There is much much better stuff in Dressed to Kill...

"Did I leave the gas on?"
"No, I'm a f@#%ing squirel!"

I'm going to say this because I think SOMEONE has to.

You will always think your macros and emotes are funnier than EVERYONE ELSE. I'm glad you like them, but everyone has a different sense of humor

A macro joke is funny ONCE. After that, please stop using it. We heard it. It's annoying. STOP IT!!!! If you do it once and never again, it's "This person has a sense of humour! Great!" More than once and we all want you bound and gagged so you will stop.

The best macros either explain what to do (like Ref's "Please get behind the <t> so I can SATA", or something like that), or shortly and perfunctorily explain what is going on ("(|Refresh|) <t>!")

The only elemental spell macro I have EVER seen that has ever been ANY good is the Bring It On reference here. That would be cute. Once or twice. I am so sick of "Hey, <t>, get stoned, dude!", and "Feel the burrnnn, <t>!"

And, lastly, people who cuss in their macros. I PT'd with a THF, don't remember his namke, I think he was a pretty good puller, but his macro for SATAVB was something like "Eat it, ^%(*&^&^$^%#$^%%*&!!!!" They're just polygonal mobs. Calm down and relax.
