I think some of you ppl need to lighten up a little bit...

Yeah, it's annoying to broadcast everything you are doing to the PT, when all they need to know is (provoke, refresh, low mana, inc., and TP/skillchain stuff). But when I see a creative macro, it makes me smile, sometimes laugh, and usually always makes the XP-grind a little more tolerable.

This is a GAME ppl! Get off your fuggin high-horse!! I know most of us devote a large amount of time into it. Good players take what they do seriously and try to create the most efficient PT experience for everyone. That doesn't mean they can't have fun while they are doing it.

I know I had some annoying macros in the past (even an /em macro or 2 <(>_<), everyone starts out as a n00b. If I come up with a macro that amuses me, I'll use it until I get tired of it. If someone says it bothers them, I'll change it...it's no big deal

My new Convert macro is, "Oh sh*t! Aggro!"

this was more funny than anything.

i was in a pt in the dunes a long time ago with a brand spanking new taru summoner who had carbuncle as his only avatar. no big deal, he was obviously waiting to get to 20 to do the minifork battles. problem was, his ONE SUMMONING MACRO went like this.

A few favorites out of my own macro pallete:

Defender:
"Not in the face! Not in the face!"
(When I level my sub)

Backhand blow:
<t> betta have my money!

Chi Blast:
<t> @::. Q=('.'Q) ~Hadoken!

A DRK I partied with once (can't remember the name) had one for Provoke that gave me a chuckle:

"Oh my god! Why am I provoking?!"
(or something to that effect, there might have been some expletives in there. it was quite some time ago)

Pamtam's teleport macro had me rollin' last night!

"Thank you for flying PamAir Flight 229. Today we will be serving Boiled Crab with a side of Pugil." He goes on a with a few more flight references, it's fricken hilarious!
