The best/funny/stupid/annoying/appealing macros on fenrirFollow

Just thought i post about the many macros of fenrir cause im bored and if you don't like it i don't give a ****......

Any macro with a whistle call would have to go on my annoying list.

Anyone that uses /emote, /say, /shout(! yes, I've seen these) when casting spells, provoking, attacking, etc. goes on my /blist.

I prefer short and informative macros. The place to outgrow such things is in the Dunes. Of course, there are exceptions.

Our Red Mage has a macro that says:
{Refresh}{Pet} {Casting Spell} {Refresh} on <player> which cracks me up.

One of my favorite macros is my friend Kyzoku's macro for Holy, which I think he half stole from me...

{Holy} <bt> {bat} {Man}!

It's hard finding a group as a low level BST, because you get slanted by the group for charming a beast because it wacks off 30% from the exp.

Why do you have to wave goodbye to the monster? Why do we have to see you wave goodbye to the monster? I'm not in your party, I don't care what goes on in your party, so keep your macros party exclusive, or better yet, if they're annoying and you just like seeing yourself talk, use /echo.



No one's condemning roleplay, but do it on your own time. When I'm in an EXP party with some horny sex craving M Elvaan, you're damn right I'm going to be annoyed if he keeps doing "/em touches the Mithra's breast lolz" EXP party is that, to get EXP. (Sorry for using Elvaan as an example) No one cares about your 'love life' except you and your spouse, so keep it exclusively that, the /t function works perfectly for that. Heck, you could even make your own LS with just the 2 of you.

emote macros are annoying at times, esp if they put something like /point into a voke macro.

I really dislike the misspelled macros, I find it annoying, just a pet peeve...
if you are making a macro, PLEASE learn how to spell the words in your macro properly, or al least use the auto translator to spell some of the words for you.

mispelled macros bother me too hehe, i always point it out to the person who owns it in a /t

they never fix them though :D

An old fav I use to use on my rdm until the whm in my PTs started having too many panic attacks.

I would have a heart attack and then die laughing.

I know this because i was pulling one day and the rdm used it without telling anyone. I flee'd back and i was like "whats killing you??" He said "Convert..." I had to take a bio break at that point. ^__^

My static has been together since about level 23,all being close to 57 now.Here are a couple of macros I have gotten used to....

(THF puller) <t> {Sighted} {Pirates} {Attack}
He sees himself a bit of a Pirate^^

(DRG First-voke) {Up} {Up} and {Away} (Superjump)

(MNK) HADOKEN!!!! (Chi-Blast)

They always seemed funny to me^^I don't have any macros aside from TP alert.

So does the way I do things. ^^

I only have 3 macros out of all my jobs that have a /p in them. I like to keep everything silent so that if I do see any blue, I know I should read it because it might be someone saying something about an add.

That "Gimme Power" macro sounds familiar. I remember I saw a war/mnk use that in Yuhtunga but it was in a "/s Gimme Power" macro and yes he did use it pretty much every 15 seconds. I told him it'd be best to just use an /echo macro. Hopefully he didn't think I meant /party.

My roommate (Beckler) has a pretty good one:

There's also a mule called Lemmingman hanging around Bastok, that has 60+ /em macros, followed by the famous /panic motion.
He walks up to the AH and spams a few dozen at a time before logging, and manages to irritate a good portion of the population each time.

I have yet to /blist him, I look forward to his Legendary Hip Thrusts and Waltzes of Eternal Angst every time I head into Bastok. Always a bit of comedy to be had.

Aaaaahahaha, best macro ever. I about fell outta my chair laughing so hard.

I don't have any emotes for my party macros cept my "/em gets down with her bad self /panic motion /welcome motion" for when I level cause I don't want to see my macros all the time. I do have a couple that I will do in town or when I see someone I know:

I'm going to say this because I think SOMEONE has to.

You will always think your macros and emotes are funnier than EVERYONE ELSE. I'm glad you like them, but everyone has a different sense of humor


A macro joke is funny ONCE. After that, please stop using it. We heard it. It's annoying. STOP IT!!!! If you do it once and never again, it's "This person has a sense of humour! Great!" More than once and we all want you bound and gagged so you will stop.

The best macros either explain what to do (like Ref's "Please get behind the <t> so I can SATA", or something like that), or shortly and perfunctorily explain what is going on ("(|Refresh|) <t>!")

The only elemental spell macro I have EVER seen that has ever been ANY good is the Bring It On reference here. That would be cute. Once or twice. I am so sick of "Hey, <t>, get stoned, dude!", and "Feel the burrnnn, <t>!"

And, lastly, people who cuss in their macros. I PT'd with a THF, don't remember his namke, I think he was a pretty good puller, but his macro for SATAVB was something like "Eat it, ^%(*&^&^$^%#$^%%*&!!!!" They're just polygonal mobs. Calm down and relax.
