The Dunes Server on Fenrir...Follow

It's been a while but I've been farming in the dunes on and off for the past two weeks and the fiends in the dunes have been acting really stupid. The server has been lagging big time. Anyone else notice that? I wonder if SE is going to be adding to the Fenrir server cluster anytime soon.

More like the MOBs are drunk. When you pull something he will run around aimlessly wondering where you are, even doubling back to his original spot before he sobers up and finally runs to attack the provoker. Usually it takes another mob to sober the original one up, because they always seem to bring back a friend.

I've noticed this for the past few weeks now. It's gotten so bad that I don't want to pull in the dunes anymore unless I can avoid it. >< I'm hoping that SE fixes this soon, it really is a huge problem.

im not from Fenrir, im from Fairy. I have noticed the mobs in the dunes acting very odd. i leveled drk from 10-20 and started warrior 10-11. the mobs seem to walk around like idoits looking for something to hit. i doesnt make any sense. also i first noticed it while i was PLing a friend of mine. everyone in the zone got D/C. it was real wierd when we finally got back in everyone was LFP i think i saw 30 jsut from 10-14.

Well again, it's not client lag as my Send/Receive are below 200 to 250 at all times within the dunes. It must be server lag as in the cluster of servers that are responsible for the Dunes on Fenrir or all servers is either over croweded or there's a bandwidth issue. Who knows. Glad it's not just me going crazy.

Yeah i was out lvling there last night and the lag was ridiculous. Mobs were just skipping back and forth and were acting like they ADHD or something. I thought the lag had something to do with the brighness in that area. I dunno.

No, the brightness is just more attention to detail on the part of SE. Notice it gets very hard to see during the brightest part of the day 1100-1300. I have found, if there are important things going on during that time, as stupid as it may look: sunglasses, or take the easy route and turn the brightness down on your monitor during that time.

I called a GM about this problem a long time ago, and they said it was due to lag, even though it was quite obvious that the monster pathing was screwed. =\

And has anyone noticed how BRIGHT @.@ the dunes have been recently? I have to turn the brightness all the way off, and the contrast to 50% on my moniter to stop from squinting, and then I can't see anything else. XD

This proves that GMs DO PLAY AS MOBS!

As they are playing as a mob, they are getting lag, like we are, and move randomly- BYMISTAKE!

XD. I've wondered about it some times myself. I was leveling Monk in Gustaberg keeping an eye out for a goblin (was right on the line of sight, moving in and out) when out of no where BAM! Thing starts running for me from all the way out there. Ended up wasting my 2 hour on it cause it linked with the goblin I was fighting at the time. >.<;
