Was this in Nyzul Isle -> Bhaflau Thickets?

I swear to god that place is a watering hole for *** pilots.

Read it and weep people. If you disagree, you're wrong. That's all there is to it.

THE MAMOOL CAMP (TOP FLOOR) SUPPORTS ONE PARTY. NOT MORE. NOT 2. ONE.

THE SECOND FLOOR COLIBRI CAMP SUPPORTS ONE PARTY (and if that one party happens to have some decent DD's amongst them they will clean every single mob out on that floor and their chain will be in jeopardy of being lost, and that's without the help of some braindead second party being stupid)

THE THIRD FLOOR COLIBRI CAMP ONLY SUPPORTS 1.5 PARTIES. I say 1.5 because if the first party has any competent DD's (much like the second floor) THIS CAMP DOES NOT PROVIDE ENOUGH CONTINUAL MOB POPS TO FEED TWO WHOLE FUNCTIONING PARTIES.

This happens to me all the time. I was at the second floor colibri camp one night hammering away, and slowly 2 more parties on just seem to creep in to the second floor and 4 parties on the third floor, all at once trying to pull. 7 god **** parties in nyzul isle > thickets... not fucking kidding either.

Who in their right mind thinks this is a good fucking idea? If I was in a party where some idiot leader said "Hey man, there is 120 people in the thickets and were going to to have to fight over EXP mobs like they are NM's, and only get 3K/hour for it! Sound fun?" I'd be promptly clicking the disband button.

The thing is, these people are so stupid, they think that it is just the original party they are hurting... wrong.

When two parties crowd a spot where there should only rightfully be one party, guess what happens? That's right, both parties split the potential exp. Then, because both parties are trying to out do the other, they both tend to get sloppy with pulls, meaning they aren't killing as fast and most of the time it involved at least one or two people dying. (Which really only means now you are diluting your exp/hour even further... nice work.)

What really throws me for a loop is when the invasive offending party acts like the original party are the idiots for being there and rightfully getting upset that they are getting screwed up the ***. news flash idiots: you came in and ganked our camp, not the other way around. GTFO!

I cannot count the number of times on both hands where I have lost chain 150's, 170's, 180's because morons think a camp can support two parties.

Here's an idea: send your white mage out to scout the three floors before the rest of the party follows suit all the way out there. When the white mage gets out there, if it's busy they warp back... DON'T GO THERE ANYWAY because you're lazy. FIND ANOTHER CAMP (there's lots out there to be had) OR BETTER YET, if you're so stupid you can't see past this one camp, wait for the original party to be done and then take their position.

I am sure they would gladly send you a tell after they are done and hold the spot for you (I know I would) and guess what? You would probably be spending your time more efficiently by having the whole camp to yourself...

Another idea? When you're running a party out there, put a search comment in. It takes 5 seconds, I do it all the time. And for people who never seem to be able to read them, this is for you: Check for sea comms, dammit. It's not that hard.

This post is probably all for nothing because people can't seem to wrap their heads around such a simple premise... It's really unfortunate that it has to be this way.

That is why I refuse to party in Nyzul Isle anymore. Even if you check camps in advance and happen to find an open one another party will just come along and plop down right on top of you. That place is a cesspool anymore.

The other night I was in middle camp and someone asked me to go check the lower camp before the set out, just a random tell from someone in Whitegate. I was proud of him. Smiley: lol

But, yes, this was on Nyzul.

LOL, ever since I put a link to this thread in my sig I have been seeing my post go back and forth from good -> decent -> good -> decent XD

Some people can't make up their minds. I guess some people don't like to be told to grow a fucking brain and use it when it comes to playing/partying with some common sense, courtesy and intelligence.

Edit: I edited my original post to make it a little more blunt and scathing, let's see if I can stir the pot a little and get my karma knocked down a few more points... I've been on a roll lately. ha ha ha...

Well a significant problem is there's some people who don't look at it as who was there first. *stares at BG* Certainly people from there tend to think that if your party is stronger/capable of greater xp/hr then they deserve the camp over the current party.

I don't agree with this, just saying it's out there.

On the search comment thing, I think I've said this before, I've put my comment up countless times. I swear every time I remember to put up a "@ this camp" comment, without fail parties flock to it. It's almost like they /are/ searching but just are asshats that enjoy f*cking with people. =/

On a similar subject, whenever I go with a LS party to merit(I usually get asked where to go) I'll so /sea "zone" and ask all the appropriate level gold names where they are camping. Seems like a solution to lack of search comments right? WRONG!

You've heard of 20 questions right? Well these dolts have a new game... "how many questions can I make you answer before I answer your question that you asked first". Orz So after I establish that one gold 75 is sploing some low sh*t and the other gold 75 is at nyzul birds... still waiting for the others to respond... 30+ minutes have passed and the rest of my party says 'f*ck it, let's just go and see' out of sheer restlessness. I'll be honest, at that point I don't care if I'm taking someone's camp because I gave them every chance to avoid it.

Part of the problem? Sure, but chicken or egg. Seriously, waiting around for hours just because people are idiots and don't know how to answer the simple question "Excuse me, where are you EXPing with your party?" is too much to ask for.

I got boned out of another chain 110 on friday night again. We were all alone then all of a sudden three parties on the second floor and three parties on the third floor... GG.

Then, for icing on the cake, our bard had slept a bird right beside us and in the mean time I guess our whm had given the bard a significant sized cure which established hate.

Shortly after that, some other fool comes along and snags our bird when it flashes yellow. Then they pull it back to their camp and their bard sleeps it. They of course let it wake and it makes a death charge at our WHM yet was still purple and claimed by them.

So long story short it starts beating the living **** out of our WHM and there is nothing our party can do about it whatsoever but watch.

After losing my patience for this shit completely I start shouting repeatedly for them to take their f'ing claimed mob and keep hold on it. If you're going to attempt to gank a **** mob at least put some @#%^ing hate on it, don't be a little *****.

Of course that solicits brain dead responses such as "LOL you're gonna die" and "lol owned" and the like.

I have 8 merits left to obtain then I will be done exp'ing forever. Even if I were to get one more merit point after that I would have no place to put it, and GDI I will be so happy when it's done with.

People are idiots, yet if it was happening to them the words GM!! and MPK!! would be flying. Funny how that works, it's all right with me as long as it doesn't affect me in any manner whatsoever.
