Zam was just the first victim* of Google's policy of making everything safe for kids in order to court advertisers. Apparently Youtube's getting hit pretty hard, vids are getting demonetized for not appealing to advertisers due to language or content. Because I'm too lazy to find a link to the actual rules, here's a guy breaking all of them in a couple minute video(NSFW). He mentions all of them.
*First victim I'd heard of, anyway. Probably not actual first.

Like Zam, ComicBookResources wrecked their webpage for some weird reason, too. Now everything is super huge, the "news" is a few days old, and the last time I visited there were Buzzfeed quality "top ten" list articles.
