Some of you knew her as ThePsychoticOne, some knew her as Rog, but Rachel became a good friend of mine.

I'm terribly sorry if this is old news, I just found out.

Wait. I remember hearing about that. She was TPO? Holy crap. Smiley: jawdrop Edit2: You might be interested in additional information beyond what you linked.

Edit: Also, it ate your link because you forgot to put any text inside the brackets.

Quite the accurate description of chronic pain. It's a shame Rog didn't get the help she needed, because that is a pretty hellish situation. I'm grateful I have support to help deal with it.

Bye, Rog.Smiley: frown

Ugh. I'm glad I have to deal with that for only a week or so at a time.

Don't be so hard on yourself. That's not true. You could never post. Smiley: tongue

I'm glad that helped you. The reason I knew about it was that I actually had someone on Twitter tell me that it was the fault of me and people like me that she killed herself. They've since deleted that tweet, so I can't go back and yell at them like I really, really want to now that I know she was someone I considered a friend, as much as one can be friends with someone they know so little about. At the very least, she was fun to shoot the proverbial **** with.

Another thought, should we contact Kirby? He might want to know about this, assuming he doesn't already.

I have no idea how to contact Kirby.

Why would anyone blame you?

I followed him on Youtube a while back, so if we think it's a good idea, I might be able to contact him through that. He's still using the account, having liked a video earlier this morning.

I was having a gamergate argument with someone when the suicide came out, so they threw that in my face, saying that I was at least in part responsible for it somehow.

Pointless drama. What is the OOT ever up to aside from that or nothing?

Edit: As for whether these are OOT people, TPO posted a fair bit in the Asylum, as I recall. Mostly after the ban, iirc. Kirby ran a sub-forum in his journal.

I vaguely remember the name. Looking back, she stopped posting (and was banned it seems) in 2011 so I can't say I remember much.

She might have posted in =4. There was a time when quite a few people posted in =4.

She was mostly on the FFXI Main forums from what I can remember.

Our fights were legendary, but I would never wish death upon anyone, especially in such a horrific way. So very sorry she didn't get the help she needed.

I'm also frankly disgusted at all the people who egged her on to kill herself, as if it was a game.

It's 4chan. It's like going to Starbucks and being surprised they sell overpriced coffee. It's the expected norm.

Anyway, from what I remember TPO was smarter than being affected by something like that and people are just trying to place the blame.

I imagine chronic pain coupled with (I assume) social ostracism would be enough by itself. I'm no expert, though.

Just saw this. I didn't actually know Rog but thanks to all my lurksome years here I felt like I knew her anyway. This news is surprisingly hard to take. What a shame. RIP Rog/Rachel.
