So I qualified for ACA with about a 55% subsidy. I finally get to see* actual specialists so as to maybe, finally get a diagnoses of this chronic evil which has really been making things quite miserable of late.

I'm on gabapentin now, which I hate due to the side effect and hope to change. Six years after it was first suggested I'm now also taking methotrexate.

Anyway, I got stuffed into an MRI last Friday for a fun 2 hour scan. I expect to get the results and it better darn well be an absolute for MS or I'mma be major pissed as the alternatives are much, much worse.

It's just terrible that the ACA required insurance companies to cover pre-existing conditions isn't it? What a horrible administration we are forced to live under.

Did you at least get an Obamaphone and okra out of the ordeal of having your liberties intruded on?

Unwanted okra gifting was the prima facie reason for the 2nd Amendment.

You poor unlucky soul, being born American. You could've had this diagnosed 20 years ago, after waiting a year to see a Dr. had you been born Canuckian.

MRIs are a very relaxing experience. It's almost like a day at the spa. I never sleep better than when I'm getting scanned.

Got a full physical today. Lots of fun. Slightly high blood pressure apparently. Everything else stayed about the same. I'm pretty sure I can blame Obama for that, too.

I hate that. You'd think in this day and age they'd have a machine that actually knew the lyrics.

Things on my skin :

Cherry Angioma
Seborrheic Keratosis
Actinic Keratosis
Skin Tags

A couple of those are educated guesses and not yet actualy diagnosed. Some of the things I can't find on the interwbz. The real issue is that I had a grand total of maybe 8 locations 2 years ago and now these things number in the many dozens, accelerating in number all the time.
