Actual eating involved more pasta and less prettiness, but just as much delicious.

That looks delicious. You shame me, this past weekend I made Spaghetti Carbonara. It was a technical success, but it was poorly seasoned. It may have been because I used bacon instead of pancetta but many recipes, including the one I used, allow for bacon.

My secret for carbonara is to mix the pasta and egg mixture in a bowl on top of the still boiling pasta water. That way you can cook the eggs a bit more slowly and get a really creamy sauce. I often use bacon, just add more herbs if it's bland, or more parm? In summer I always have tons of fresh herbs in my garden, so I use them generously.

I don't think it's codified into company policy per se, but I'm guessing that napping on the roof here wouldn't meet approval.

Or talk to them about Gamergate for a couple hours, that'd do it, too.
Since I know you care so very much, I thought you'd like to know that today is the one year birthday for GamerGate proper.

Somehow Funimation translating Shimoneta fills me with dread. Then again, I watched the last two Dragon Ball movies recently so my taste may be compromised.

So Roddy Piper, BB King, Christopher Lee, Terry Pratchett, Betsy Palmer, Leonard Nimoy, Yvonne Craig, and now add Wes Craven to the list of 2015 dead. Sixteen more days until the universe is destroyed in a paradox thanks to scientists not having invented flying cars, sports almanacs and weird plastic-like clothes and such.

While Governor Walker says we should have a wall along our Canadian border, Governor Christie says that immigrants should be tracked like Fed-Ex packages.

Also, Obama is renaming Mt. McKinley to Mt. Denali (Denali is its traditional native Alaskan name) making Alaskans happy, Ohioans angry and everyone else apathetic.
