Voting Day!

The office is on edge. My fingers are crossed.

The benefits of working in an office that doubles as a voting center is that you can vote early and not change your schedule too much. The drawback is the thousands of people visiting your offices throughout the rest of the day so your schedule is ruined anyway. And it isn't even noon yet.

Huh, it is that day amazing how one loses track of these things, suppose I'll have to follow the news tonight (bonus points if I can remember what I voted for). On the plus side this means those political commercials that come on during football will stop now. No more having to hear about how awful labeling GMO food will be for the economy, etc. Come to think of it though, that's about the only one I did see this year. I don't suppose I'll be that lucky next time around.

The greatest upside to not watching regular television is that you're spared the political ads.

I saw one when I was at the gym. It was so terrible I laughed. "Obama! Nunn! Terrorism! EBOLA!!!!!!1! - this Carter guy is associated with these evil things, but our guy Deal is way sweeter."

Yeah, you don't miss them much when they're gone do you? I will say sitting down with the voters guide and ballot and being able to go through it without tons of ads screaming in the back of my mind was pretty nice thing.
