Aggregate of FAVORITE all-time games listsFollow

#1 Aug 07 2014 at 8:21 PM Rating: Sub-Default
Hey guys, if you happen to be a "list-addict", you might find this interesting.

Almost a 1,000 gamers have participated in this All-Time FAVORITE games list so far.
When a gamer makes his/her Top 25 (a Top 10 is also fine), the results are updated in real-time and you can rank any games (as obscure as it can be)!

This list is an aggregate of all gamers lists/opinions, so if you don't like it you can always play around with the demographic filters to see the results from a female perspective or just the people from Portugal (or wherever).

I only like The Last of Us. Can you think of nine other games I can include?

The whole point of a Top Ten All Time list is click bait to argue its validity and now you take that from us?

On that note, I call this site rigged due to the fact my opinion matters more than all of yours. I think its only fair that only my points should count.

This top ten site requires way to much information from me to prove you all wrong.

I believe everyone is allowed to have their own opinions, no matter how wrong they are. :P

Given I had to look up what "the last of us" is(was?), I'd have to say it's obviously a link to a site taken over by kids and hippies. Probably doing things that are completely inappropriate for a google-censored forum. Because of that I can only shake my head in disgust.

Smiley: disappointed

I liked TLoU as well, mostly for the story. The gameplay was nothing terribly special, but not outrageously bad or anything. I wish the NPC follower AI had been a bit better, so that they didn't need to be basically invulnerable/undetectable, but that's a relatively minor gripe. I'd definitely take what they gave over a NPC follower who was constantly breaking stealth and getting destroyed. Anyway, not the best game ever, but I quite enjoyed it.

Me too. Nexa and I watched a commentary free play-through of it, it was our favorite movie of 2013.

It is actually incredible that out of 2343 games that have been ranked so far, no one has ranked Battletoads their all-time favorite yet...

On the other hand it has been ranked in other lists:
- 7th in the "Favorite 2D Beat 'em Ups" list
- 11th in the "Favorite Games of 1991" list
- 12th in the "Favorite NES Games" list

Not sure why, but The Last of Us never interested me. Watched half a playthrough and lost interest.

I played until I got frustrated at how much I suck at FPS.

Very early on you are hanging upside down and have to fend off infected while protecting the girl... Took me a dozen tries to get through that.

Holy shibbett. And here I thought only about 3 people on the entire planet had ever even heard of Battletoads.
I remember finishing it and thinking. "Well, damn, that was a lot harder ( and more fun) than it needed to be.

You sir, get a green up thing clicky.

You sir are a liar. Stage 3 (Speederbikes) is impossible to pass. So there is no way you beat it. I mean I know for a fact that it bricks your Nintendo if you somehow manage to get to the end of Stage 3.

But seriously the most memorable non-Nintendo first party games were Battletoads, Contra, Double Dragon, and Ducktales.

Lol. Seriously though, I do agree with your list..other than Ducktales. I remember the cartoon, but not the game. Then again, maybe I saw it back then and opted for "Fester's Quest" instead.

Sort of on topic, the husband and I got into an argument over which vintage arcade machine we eventually want to have in our hypothetical dream game room.

He said Pac-Man, I said Galaga. We argued quite vehemently over this during dinner.

We eventually learned that there was a combination Pac-Man/Ms. Pac-Man/Galaga machine for a while there, and thus both of us can be happy.

In a moment of nostalgia I got Ms. pacman for my Nook. It's not fun at all.

I dropped a lot of quarters into Space Invaders.

More fun to do it here anyway. Smiley: nod

Civilization II
Pokemon Silver/Gold
Simcity 2000
World of Warcraft
Final Fantasy Tactics
Descent
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Sims 3
Star Wars: TIE Fighter
Medieval Total War

I suspect Mount & Blade: Warband will kick something off that list by the time I'm done playing it, probably end up somewhere in the lower half. But the game you're playing currently is always super awesome.

Perfect video game formula:

1) Put lots of time into building something.
2) Use that thing to smash other things.
3) ????
4) Game proclaims you amazing.

Yes, I'm bored. Why do you ask? Smiley: rolleyes
