So the whole thing is still going on. The media is referring to just about any catastrophe, but the one that seems most relevant to me: the one from 04/10/2010.

Back then world shrugged it off. Today, mostly because some Dutch died, the western officials are officially surprised.

You put in quite a pickle there, because I do not trust you, and I know you are correct.

Should have downloaded Flightradar24 before launching a missile at the dot in the sky. There's even a free version.

Best proof is here.

US had multiple torture, oops, interrogation camps all over the world ( Latvia, Spain, Germany ) and Poland is singled out to serve as a scapegoat. On international stage we are just a perfect victim.. especially given that current ruling class there is more than ready to say they are sorry.

It is just depressing.

I mean, I assume they have mobile internet in Ukraine. It's the *** of Europe, I know, but still. All it took for them was a glance at a computer, or their cell phone, and they'd have known they were launching the missile at a civilian aircraft.

This was either intentional, or the kind of blunder that rewards a person with cement shoes.

If you're being bombed and shelled, you don't really have the luxury of using spoof-able civilian software to check to see if an incoming plane is a military target. It's a mess, but it is what it is. The airliner should have charted a route away from war zones as it isn't the ones inflicting violence that will be punished for a mistake.

Looks like the result of this is the Ukraine being declared in a state of civil war. More legitimacy and responsibility for the rebels, I guess.

On the flip-side, it raises the use of force options for Kiev.
