Netherlands can beat every team that beat us in a final in a single tournament if we win the cup. In reverse order even.

I think it's 50/50 though so we'll see what happens.

From what I'm gathering from the pregame discussion is that Netherlands need to injure Messi severely.

If that's the case the same would go for Argentina and Robben.

I don't know, I'm just vaguely paying attention to the pro-Netherland discussions. Unlike Michael Vick, I don't have a dog in this fight.

Eh....Robben's fine, but comparing him to Messi is silly. Messi is better than Robben if he was forced to play hopping on one leg. There is no fair comparison for Messi at the moment. .

Yeah, not really. He's better than Robben but not by that much, he's definitely not the best we've ever seen him. Messi is one of the best players ever but he's not some kind of football deity.

We'll find out shortly, I suppose.

Okay, I've been meaning to ask: Are those kids theirs, or are they like contest winners or a combination or what?

Selected to do that, usually they are young local football playing kids. It's a tradition for almost every match that's aired on TV.

Couple of nice moves there. Not much else so far.

Way to sacrifice your body on that one.

Looks like killing the Argentine players is a viable strategy after all.

Robben's playing, right? I haven't seen his wildly waving left arm much.

They're definitely being held down. Great recovery from that fall, though.
