He has the pressure of being almost required to lead Argentina to the world cup though, just like Maradona did.

edit: another bitemark picture.

Seriously though, I agree it's usually teams that win tournaments. But over only 4 matches, anything can happen.
Tis my thoughts, everyone has bad games. Playing well for all of 4-7 straight isn't impossible certainly, but I'd never like to rely too heavily on one player in a tournament setting, as a general rule of thumb.

What's the difference between England and a tea bag?

Tea bag stays in the cup longer.

Also, there is a camera angle that shows Suarez biting from the front so there's clear video evidence. Can't take long before he gets banned for multiple games.

Think I bumped into the squad today at Heathrow.

Oh, and Suarez needs to stop ******* biting people, or at least bite someone that deserves it - like Rooney.

Apparently some Norwegian guy bet about $5 that Suarez would bite someone at 175-1 odds.

32 NOK = 5.23 USD = 3.85 EUR

6500 NOK = 915 USD = 673 EUR

And now for the other game(s): Greece is starting well with 2 injuries in the first 20 minutes. The goalie is still playing but his replacement is doing his warmup.

And I think Messi is just as good, if not better.

Than Maradona? Come on, he's CLEARLY a better footballer, and it's really not that close. A better folk hero, maybe not. Maradona was pretty charismatic.

A game with real injuries?

I'm not sure I believe you.

Yeah, it's only because Messi hasn't done it in a WC yet. And obviously the lack of mafia, cocaine, prostitutes, ephedrine, etc...

Yeah, he was just over-keen.

You might say he was.... champing at the It

Ronaldo is all kinds of f*cked up, the stuff with his kid was michael jackson levels of crazy. But Messi isn't on the same scale as Maradona. He doesn't hang out with Chavez and Castro. He hasn't snorted half of the colombian jungle. He doesn't spend his spare time with the leaders of the n'drangetta. Prostitutes though, maybe.

Sure, but he'll be getting the cold shoulder from Uruguay fans when he gets banned.

No, I don't think it'll make a dent to his reputation back in Uruguay.

Maybe. Still, he's getting a bit long in the tooth to act out like this.

Second minute of extra time, what a time to score.

You're right, Uruguay only went through by the skin of their teeth.

They need to lobby to change that obviously.

Especially now that we have a tie, of course...
