Maybe not, but to make the argument that element is necessary. Kind of like outraged people.

Absolute Outrage - another great grunge-band name from Zam.

The Right does not support limiting abortion out of a desire to infringe the rights of women, but out of a desire to protect the rights of the unborn.

The fact that it limits the rights of women is just a nice bonus that dovetails perfectly with the rest of the GOP platform regarding infringing women's rights. Nice when there's synergy like that in politics, like how redistribution of wealth from the top of the curve makes everyone comparatively more wealthy AND spurs economic growth.

Yeah, nice thought and all, but if the GOP was so fricken concerned about the sanctity of life maybe they'd stop pushing for more profitable imprisonments, fewer health, safety and environmental regulation on industry, denial of coverage for birth control and family planning, etc.

The rights of the unborn, Elinda. Once it's squeezed out it's on it's own and should get a job and not be a welfare leech.

Of course redistribution of wealth under Obama and the Democrats has led to record number of people being on food stamps and welfare and disability and has also led to the lowest job participation rate since the 60's.

It would actually lead to the opposite. If it were to happen, that is.

Isn't redistribution of wealth just a euphemism for theft? Why don't we all just steal from the rich? You know, be the change you want to see in the world and all that.

http://cnsnews.com/news/article/terence-p-jeffrey/92594000-americans-not-labor-force-hits-all-time-record-participation

A record 92,594,000 Americans were not in the labor force in April as the labor force participation rate matched a 36-year low of 62.8 percent, according to data released today by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

And yes records of numbers of people are claiming disability and getting food stamps as well.

Not that you care about any of this.

So you don't have proof of a democratic politician saying, "it's a good thing the economy is faltering because it gives parents more time with their children". Smiley: frown How disappointing.

J/k I knew you and/or you people just made that up.

I tried to google it.

John Maynard Keynes' wikipedia entry was my first hit, then "Abuse Reports in Texas Increase as Economy Falters" and "Andrew Solomon: The Father of the Sandy Hook Killer." After that it was just stuff about people dying in Uganda, and people you could donate money to so they could give it to children and such.

Maybe I should have tried Bing?

The most useful thing I've learned from Zam is that Bing is the go-to search engine for pornographic material.
