Naw, doing that kind of curry favor never really helps in the long run.

I'll admit. I'm slightly confused... the address isn't enough for them to deliver the mail? Admittedly I've never lived in an apartment building, but I'm assuming the mailboxes are addressed by room number, no?

You'd think it would. However, more recently post offices have been requesting that people tape some kind of piece of paper in their mailboxes with the last names of everyone who lives at the residence. In theory, it's so that they can more easily avoid delivering mail from previous occupants. Not everyone fills out a change of address card, and even then they need to know the names of the folks who live there, so they don't accidentally forward it on to the new address of the previous person.

In practice, I get mail in my box from people who live down the street, in a different unit in the same complex, same number but a completely different street, etc. And different names don't seem to matter one bit. The guy actually walking the route is kinda the last check to make sure the right mail goes into the right box, and I doubt they spend much time at all checking the names on the mail with the names on the boxes. Hell, as I mentioned, they don't seem to check the addresses either.

One of the few spending restructures (cuts) that I actually support from Harper and Reform 2.0.

Maybe your postal carrier is pissed because you apparently ignored the first, second, third...., requests to bring your mailbox into compliance?

Why do you dis the guy for his grammar when there is a legible message stating a real problem being brought to your attention? A problem that you're causing out of apathy.

How many times do you have to be dissed by a dumb-*** before you realize the value of other peoples?

Go without mail. I bet the mailman that you treat like crap could care less. We're not going to give up on mail service during this guys career so you can stop pounding your chest, or patting your back or whatever....

Couldn't care less. Not "could care less". I'm sorry, it just grates me so far up the wrong way because it's so illogical when written the wrong way.

Either way, my whole post was pretty snotty. I was on a ten day bleed - finally ended. I'm hoping it was the big finale.

Chili prawn lattes are more of a Vietnamese thing.

We have Chowdah lattes.

Since it is friday and nothing seems to be going on ( other than 4th anniversary of Polish plane mysteriously going down over Smolensk ), I figured I would give you guys an update about my postal worker.

Simple letter apparently worked with no notable side effects. I am still getting mail.

Freaking woop woop, wanna fight about it?

I stopped getting mail about a week ago. I suspect the shoulder of the road got too soft for the mail lady.

I should take some kind of action, but I'm not really missing all those credit card invites.
