Moldova sucks!

Had a foreign student from Moldova, I don't think anyone had heard of it previously.

Probably not, but they went well with Fava beans and a nice Chianti.

While Ukraine is falling apart, "Forbes" put this little gem out.

Real results in Crimea..

I am officially confused. If you are faking it, why would you leave traces of faking it for later release.

Help meeee

You wouldn't. This isn't propaganda vs objective fact, it's just dueling propaganda. Nothing really matters until the May 25 elections, which will be guaranteed to elect a western puppet regardless of actual outcome and which Russia will likely prevent from occurring in any meaningful way in any case. If you're keeping score, Russia is "winning" by a wild margin thusfar. Not really sure how it's playing in the US media, I haven't been paying attention, I assume it's that Putin is a doddering clown with giant ambitions who we shouldn't take that seriously, but you know, also evil.

It's all lies! Smiley: mad

Really basically everything that smash said, there's not going to be even marginally objective reporting from the region anytime soon. The U.S. media has pretty much gone anti-Russia these days, and I wouldn't expect to see their tune change, nor would I expect anything better from the other side.

My take on the news is that Putin is actually dangerous and hellbent on resuming the Cold War, if not outright WW3. And that we should be concerned for our astronauts.

It is still fascinating. I kinda hoped the propagandists would consider general populace to be a little more less stupid..

Then again.. yesterday ( or was it during the weekend ) I glanced at WWE ( gf watches - we all have our vices ), and I loled as the crowd couldn't decide whether to boo Obama or Putin.

The funny part is that the "less stupid" crowd is just as easy to fool. Hence Thomas Freidman, David Brooks, Malcolm Gladwell etc, all still finding gainful employment and "Ted Talks" being a thing anyone considers anything but low comedy.

Dunno, Hans Rosling's didn't seem that detached from reality or self promotion piece. Ted can still be useful if you know what to look for.

Then again.. so can youtube:P
