I'd like to take this opportunity to say that this thread title was...misleading.

The more interesting part is that he knows "for a fact. Implying that many of the lurkers who make up this great silent majority apparently PM him to thank him for fighting the good fight against the sheeple who have fallen for the liberal media's trap.

Um... Yes. I have gotten PMs from multiple people that say exactly this. It's been a couple years since I got one, and the rate at which I get them has dwindled over time. Which suggests to me that most conservatives have just given up reading this forum because with regard to politics it's all liberal all the time.
