Yeah, because Peyton totally snapped that ball over his own head and tipped his own pass... STFU.

That ended the game right there. Denver never really got into it after that..

I'm still waiting for a video with that ball snap over his head with someone adding a sound track and a speech bubble of the ball going "Wheeeeeeee!!!!!!"

That would be fentanyl. A pretty common topical medication for chronic pain. The normal form is as time released patch, but if taken orally, it apparently gets you pretty high. There have been at least twenty-six deaths around these parts from type of heroin mixed with it called Theraflu.

Really, you could have just sped up that game and set it to Benny Hill music and it would have worked.

I'd never have placed the name with a face without a listing of 'parts' that he'd played.

It's hip to be square.

Eh, he wasn't one of those Hollywood types who did much to have his name out there aside from his actual film work. You weren't exactly bombarded with the name night and day.

Anyway, Alma picked a good day for cultural unawareness since Gbaji will be by in another eight hours to demand to know who the hell this Bruno Mars guy was taking up Super Bowl time last night.

Scrolling through his IMDB page, I know a couple of the movies, but even then I can't say I really remember him in them.

Implying he used pot...and went on to something else. If not why even bring pot up in a heroin overdose story? Let alone make a plea just for people to stick to using that instead of other drugs.

So kindly shut the @#%^ up and learn to read.

I'll stick my 2 cents in here and say that I totally didn't get the "pot is a gateway to heroin" from that at all. I got the "pick pot instead!" message. I mean, if a vegetarian responds to a news story talking about the health detriments of eating red meat by saying "why can't people just stick to eating fruits and veggies?", I don't assume they're making a snide remark about how eating fruits and veggies is a gateway to eating steak.

So yeah. I think you way read into that statement.

Hah! Funny. During the show I actually thought "Well, at least I'd heard of Beyonce before". Lol!

It was a pretty unremarkable half time show.

I thought it was pretty great..for a super bowl halftime show. I'm not a Bruno Mars fan, really. I recognized the songs, but I couldn't have told you who sung them before last night. Seems talented, though.

Granted, I'm not as "in" as I want to be, but those are some pretty absurd comments. I'm quite sure that I can list some well known celebrities that will cause you to draw a question mark.

RHCP was cool. Bruno Mars was pretending to be The Time dancing to Jungle Love.

My husband must have enjoyed it. He made a special trip upstairs when it was over to tell me I'd missed a good show.

I will hold on to hopes wonder and awe with the Olympic opening ceremony.

As for the man and his career, I myself didn't care much for him. Sure, I'll acknowledge that he's generally well-regarded as an excellent actor, as Smash pointed out he tends to overdo it. But then the only roles I seem to remember are the smarmy asshole types, like in Nobody's Fool, Scent of a Woman and The Talented Mr. Ripley.

I didn't see anything that great about him either, and frankly some of the hero-worship I've seen in various threads and comments is a little nauseating. It's like people think the hunger games was real and he really did save katniss or something with how they go on about him being heroic and 'one of the greats of our time'.

Give me a break. He was just another idiot actor who memorized lines and then snorted them.

Well, let's hang on for a minute. I don't think he was an all time great actor, but he was a good serviceable movie actor. That's ASTONISHINGLY hard to be. Seems like it should be easy, but it isn't. In the same way that a third string NFL quarterback isn't an "all time great" quarterback, he's still in the .0001% high end of talent for that role. Same is probably true here. There's on acting "autotune". To be a working character actor with his profile level you have to be special.

Not for a cisgendered able bodied non ethnic y chromosome haver. Are you part Cherokee, maybe? That might be alright.
