I'm just not sure there's much left to be said of the doofus that calls himself Governor of Maine, but Politico apparently wanted in on the joke. How Did Mild-Mannered Maine Get America’s Craziest Governor?

This weeks Lepage highlight...

Lepage and his DHS Commisioner Mayhew (this woman is seriously braindead), totally ignoring the states rfp policy, entered into a million dollar contract with the Alexander Group to compile a comprehensive report with recommendations for improvement on the states Welfare programs. Alexander of the Alexander group is a highly conservative welfare slashing zealot. He was formerly head of Rhode Island's DHS department. Rhode Island is rofl at us right about now.

The report has been received but the gov is refusing to release it publicly despite our attorney general declaring otherwise. STORY

America's craziest? Was Jesse Ventura or Arnold Schwarzenegger not in the running?

Arnie is pretty sane in comparison to the "Bod". That one is nuttier than a Snicker bar. Did his conspiracy theory reality tv show get the ax or did he run out of conspiracies?

It doesn't seem as much craziness or silliness as chrischristyness.

I don't know...instigating a traffic jam takes a bit of planning at least.

Seems like they didn't plan it nearly as well as they should have.

Arnie was definitely not the craziest governor out there. I wasn't necessarily wild about his union-busting ways, and his personal life was a bit of a distraction; but as Republican governors go he was pretty moderate.

What I meant was that the man has always struck me as someone who can be petty and vindictive, and this whole traffic jam debacle is more petty and vindictive than it is crazy or silly.

It takes a special kind of ****** to wreak that kind of havoc over an entire community over multiple days simply because their mayor, a democrat, did not support him, a republican, on his re-election campaign.

Latest conspiracy theory was that it was more of a retaliation against the Democrat majority leader of NJ, who something something a judge that was a former member of Chris Christie's staff. Ft. Lee is the district she's from.
