My question is, if or when a report says otherwise, does that one report outweigh the others? I know that it will for the conservatives, but how will the media accept it?

Well, there's another committee also investigating. The dilemma there for the GOP is either the next report agrees with this one and kills the talking points completely or else it contradicts this one and makes one of the GOP-led committees look like jackasses who can't hold a decent investigation. That and it'll look blatantly political if the next report is filled with breathless wrongdoing.

More interestingly, although they said that the post-attack talking points were flawed, they also found no evidence that the White House attempted to deceive anyone or that the talking points were crafted in bad faith.

Well, really, it's sort of State's job to deceive people in those circumstances.

I should have more properly said "the administration" but the usual suspects were trying to pin it all on the president anyway.
