What a tragedy and a mess for the big city at this time of year. I was thinking of peeps I knew in the city when the story was breaking of the subway crash and I thought to myself, 'I bet almost everyone knows someone in NYC'.

Any communication clogs-ups?

There was an auto accident on my road this morning - a couple of emergency vehicles, spinning - flashing colorful lights and a pick-up truck nose first in the ditch.

I heard about it this morning. I don't really know too many people from the Bronx, and everyone I do know is accounted for.

I don't know anyone in the Bronx, and most of the commuters I know come in from Jersey City.

It's crazy, though...

While I'm not in the city nor do I work there regularly anymore, three weeks ago I went into the city early Sunday morning for some overtime work. I was on that train. This was pretty freaky.
