The way it looks TSA gathered a little too much power and does not like being investigated. I am half waiting for someone to claim that seized notes can be easily combined to create more lethal weapons that the warrant was for..

It actually got better. Some low level grunt decided to throw in hard and long word that was supposed to defuse the journalist. The grunt said they need to make sure the notes are "legitimate".

So we have our newspeak. We have renditions. We have black sites. Sheet, we have Hayden bragging about it on a train ride. We have all encompassing surveillance.

And we have retards in a lot of places of power who repeat idiotic mantras similar to "imply and deny". And all that time, best we can do is watch. At which point ,exactly, people stop watching?

So how are you dealing with a realization that you are slave..(Matrix mode) born into a jail you can't feel?

Hey. Next time you're going to link to some conspiracy revealing article. Could you link to the first page of the damn article. I seriously read that, thought the whole time "this is the worst article I've ever read. I have no clue what they're talking about", then realized I was reading page 2 of 3. Was kind of amusing really.

I started reading it, and the first lines were talking about "the raid" and I thought "It'd be nice if they told us more about 'the raid' itself before complaining about the results of it". So I ignored the post (eh, I was going to ignore it anyway).

I'd like to see this from a more reputable source before I form an opinion.

Dude, do decide. It is, really, either amusing, or annoying(unless you are one of them weird folk who find amusing things annoying).

If I was more of ****, I would have said I was testing you to see when you are going to notice, but the reality is I am lazy. I am willing to admit it. Longest journey begins with a single step and all that.

No, it can be both. One can find annoying things to be mildly amusing, in a way.

I suppose it's better than being born into a jail you can feel.

Ignorance is bliss eh?

Set the posters free. If they love you they'll come back. If they don't they never did.

I have to say rendition is the nastiest, most Totalitarian offense against people's rights that my democracy has ever inflicted against it's own people. I still cannot believe people tolerate this because 9/11 happened and (rightfully) shocked everyone.

The good news is that before the general populace feels the squeeze, it might too little too late to actually do anything about it. Depending on the point of view, Stalin might have died a long ago, but his legacy and his methods are still alive and well in Russia.

In case you think it is unfair for me to compare both, please re-read the opening post, and tell me the tools are not ready to be rolled out on a grander scale.

I downloaded a mod that lets me feel it. I know some people would think it's "cheating" but I feel better now. Smiley: nod

And in this case, it was amusing in the sense that as I was reading the page I was thinking "This feels like I've come in half way into the story and I'm missing something". Then I got to the bottom and saw the page links and realized I'd been reading page 2, and laughed because I did come in half way into the story.

For me, it was more amusing than annoying. Maybe I have a twisted sense of humor, but I found it funny that the source link for something so seriously conspiratorial would be screwed up like that. I normally view conspiracies as requiring some degree of muddled thinking, so further muddling things by linking to the middle of the story just adds to the irony.

What I always find interesting whenever someone tries to dismiss something as conspiracy theory. It is such a perfect combination of words. Naturally, these days, it came to mean "you can ignore this". I would like you think about it for a little bit Gbaji, and then tell me who programmed you to ignore things that are in plain sight for everyone to see.

If you gonna be dumb, you gotta be tough I guess
