I'm looking for a new "joke a day" style webcomic. It doesn't have to update daily but what I'm not looking for is another serialized plot-based comic along the lines of Order of the Stick, Questionable Content, Girl Genius, Sluggy Freelance*, etc. Just a largely standalone comic to give me a few chuckles a few times a week. Also something still updating; I've already read the PBF archives.

Currently reading:
Bug Martini (formerly just 'Bug')
Basic Instructions
Cyanide & Happiness
Penny Arcade
Scenes from a Multiverse (I don't know why, it's rarely actually funny)
XKCD
I stopped reading SMBC because it's apparently even less entertaining than Scenes from a Multiverse.

Other stuff I'm sure I forgot without my tablet in front of me. Any suggestions?

*I used to like this back in the day when it WAS more of a 'joke of th day' format coupled with the plot but man that guy knows how to take characters and plot and just beat them into the ground until I can't care any more

Oglaf is ur friend. It is definitely NSFW.

Definitely Quality.

Ha ha, it is so bad that even the mention of it's name required admin intervention. Smiley: laugh

And Oglaf didn't despite the graphic (gay) sex in there. Just how bad is it?

That one had a NWS indication the first time it was mentioned. The other one didn't.

If you are posting a reference to something that contains **** in a thread where people are looking for things to go look at, and you don't slap a NWS on it of some sort, and someone does a search for it, loads it, and gets fired from work and complains, guess who is getting banned?

I say we just reban Hellboy for it. I have no idea why, it would just be funny.

You've never seen zero punctuation reviews? Turn up your hearing aid and give them a chance, they're pretty good. It could be your new webcomic!

I've seen one or two. They never really grabbed me, the mumbling manic narration being a big part of it.

This isn't a web comic but looks pretty good - Undead Archie.
I might have to pick it up.

I'd also recommend Amazing Super Powers. Good stuff.

Joph, if you're looking for new webbies, this is the site I use most. http://inkoutbreak.com/ and a Google type websearch for webcomics. http://WebcomicSearch.com
