That is unimportant. The main thing is that I am here now.

That reminds me, I need to make my five-year check-in to Efnet #quake.

Only if you're sticking around. If not I want to know why I should care that you posted twice.

Probably not permanently. Just thought I would see what people are up to these days.

For me, my life is nearly the same... Still working in Brazil on an Offshore drilling rig, 2 kids and still have the same crazy Cuban wife, apparently.

Game wise, been playing World of Tanks for the last year. Great game. Best PvP game out there, I would say.

If any of you old timers are playing, the Clan I started is -DWA-. It only contains RL friends at the moment, with no real plans to develop it past that.

I also can't believe Everquest is still going.

Anyway, How about you guys? What's new?

There were commercials for MySpace like a few weeks ago, with a bunch of hip 20somethings all jumping around and being hip and 20something.

Lets see. How long were you gone? You probably missed alot around here. Allakhazam isn't here anymore is a big one. Lots of other things along those lines. I bought a house, and more recently a 3D printer. Also, we were attacked by parakeets a while back. no real damage, but really really messy to clean up. On account of the eggs and bird ****.

The producers of the Atlas Shrugged film trilogy have a Kickstarter for the third installment. They admit that they don't actually need the money but it'd be nice if you just gave them cash anyway, just 'cause.

Supposedly this will create word of mouth buzz via liberal hate speech. I obviously can't deny that people will talk about it (Exhibit A: this post) but how this translates to people wanting to pay money to see Part Three of a movie where no one watched or gave a shit about Parts One or Two would seem to be the "???" before "Profit!"

That sounds like a really stupid plan. Especially admitting to what their plan is beforehand.

Then again, I hadn't even heard of parts 1 and 2 so it did do some good, I guess?

This is really one of those things that should be free-to-play.
