Three day weekend on the horizon. My plans, should I get the chance, is to hit the driving range, a cookout of some sort, and lots of nothing.

Friend of ours is having a birthday party tomorrow night. Her yard is close enough to the town's fairgrounds that we'll be jammin' to the music of the Goo Goo Dolls being performed at the "Summer Last Fling" event. Ironically, last year we saw the Gin Blossoms at some local fest and I spent the show joking about shouting "Play Iris!" at the stage. Of course, I also wanted to shout "Play Runaway Train" and "Play Walk on the Ocean!" at the stage as well so I had my bases pretty well covered.

Sunday we're going to the beach off Lake Michigan from the MI side.

Monday we'll just relax.

FFXIV, when I can get on. I'll hopefully have the chance to see a friend before she leaves for school, though that's more contingent on her schedule than mine.

FFXIV. I'm not logging out this weekend. I'm so sick of playing the log in game that I'm just going to be a selfish ******* and take up a spot even when I'm not playing. Also, Renaissance festival tomorrow. I guy a work with is an actor there and got me cheap tickets. I'm told that the steak on a stake is quite good.

Going to try giving potty training another go. It's been interesting this time around, there's no want to use the potty, and no aversion to being all wet. It might be back to the drawing board. Smiley: frown

You seem to get the shaft with only 3 days. I think you explained it to me before, so I wont ask why you don't get 4 days off. I just think it's weird that you don't get a corresponding training holiday off. Maybe for the "real holidays".

Don't have much planned. Weather is iffy, so might start on preserving all the crap I've collected. I appreciate freezers.

This is pretty neat.

Driving range on Saturday night. Catfish gumbo on Sunday. Daughter and her friends, and the dog, decided that my leg was the perfect place to chase each other into so spent most of Monday in the VA, and am spending the next few days walking with a cane. Can't say it was a fun weekend without someone being injured, right?
