That interview was hilarious, though the subject (girls kidnapped and held against their will for years in a house) is horrific. "I knew she was in trouble when a pretty young white girl ran into a black man's arms." Oh man

He apparently beat his ex-wife enough to get felony jail time for it, has never paid owed child support, and has a smattering of other drug and stolen property-related offenses on his rap sheet.
Not that I think he should get flak for the things he's already served time for, of course. But I just don't think that I'd bestow the "great guy" status on him.

To add further fuel to the fire, another neighbor claims he was the one to break the women out and Ramsey only showed up after he had done so. His reason for saying that he didn't get any credit? He doesn't speak English and so he wasn't interviewed.
