Why aren't you libtards --and you know who you are-- clamoring for an immediate ban on high capacity pressure cookers? Isn't it way past time we have a "national discussion" on this issue? Who really needs a six liter pressure cooker anyway? Such high capacity devices need to be limited to the police and military. How can anyone justify permitting such dangerous implements to go unregistered and unregulated?

I'm sure we can all agree on reasonable restrictions such as a five day waiting period, universal background checks and national registrations, right? Granted it won't prevent determined terrorists from using them in future incidents but it will, at least, do...something? Won't it?

Shouldn't the sale of nails now be limited to 7 at a time? And if we just start registering pressure cookers now then at least we'll have a national database that Target can check before these get into the hands of bad guys.

They found bearings too. Guess we will have to ban everything that rolls or spins while we're at it.

I think we've already been thru this and decided that it would be too much of an inconvenience to us vegetarians who like to chow down on a good feed of lentils and pulses after carrying our precious cookers (see what i did thar?) on our regular 25 mile runs around the notable conurbations of North Amerikakakaka.....

Keep up!

I'll feed the troll.

What is the primary use of a pressure cooker? Nails? Ball bearings? If the answer is to maim or kill others, then I totally agree with you. Otherwise, there is no point in regulating things that people use incorrectly.

Obviously, the primary use and purpose of a pressure cooker is to kill and maim people-- as is the function of other common kitchen cooking implements. Have you never seen Aunt Esther do her thing in Sanford and Son? The SOLE use of her frying pan was to brain poor ol' Fred upside the head.

C'mon, man, throw aside those Dem talking points and recognise that we need culinary regulation NOW!!!

Why do you spread these tales.

Libs are not the banners - we only want to regulate guns - you know weapons that kill someone with the push of a button. All the crap banned on planes was a result of a Republican administration. Ban on *** marriage - Republican. Ban abortion - Republican. I need to show ID to get cold pills - know who tapped into that little freedom - yeah, republicans again.

Look inside yourself Totem. The truth will set you free. Smiley: smile

Good question. Why aren't you insisting they're needed for hunting and home defense? You know what we need? Teachers with cell phones who can set off IUDs in case of an attack. Right?

Yes, it's left over from Puritan times. Instead of a scarlet letter, we now shame by having a tiny object propelled through the wall of the uterus and out of the navel by remote control. There's a specially made bandage that's applied to the navel to stem the resultant bleeding. It's called the Cotton Mather.

Try the veal.

Ah, I was thinking it would be more along the lines of a mass deployment.

Smash, I'm onboard with it. Let's join hands across the aisle and make this legislation happen.

On a different note, I always have to laugh at the lack of tolerance on this site. As soon as the Left's sacred cows are being cooked-- at 300 psi and 195 degrees, I might add --the downratings come crashing down. Is it any wonder all the funny posters have left this place? Other than the rare individual such as Smasharoo (who can still make me laugh and fortunately is able to laugh at himself as well) this place is as funny as a Communist Chinese self-criticism conference.

As for the rest of you, in the spirit of this thread, keep a lid on it, willya?

I can't hear you, lolgax, over the sound of the Asylum's Birkenstocked facists' feet slapping the pavement in goosestepped formation passing in formal review for Herr Adolf Obama. Don't you have a pogrom to attend? After all, dissenting opinion cannot be tolerated around here.

I can't get behind this without some sort of corporate loophole. Don't you know how much this would hurt the food service industry? It's like you don't even care about our economic well being. Smiley: disappointed

Not in the slightest, my friend. My willingness to make the fun-nay has always been predicated on how much I make myself laff. Sadly in your case, your nom d'guerre bears no resemblence to actual lols. Plenty of gacks +1 though, I'll grant you that. Bode, you, I guess.

You're a funnyman in a forum full of funnymen. It's mundane. Unoriginal. Boring. Your act requires a straightman of some sort. I'm actually a little sad for you. You have such potential.
