That doesn't make sense. No one is making you sell anything. So, if you want it, then don't sell it. If you sell it, that isn't the government.

You honestly believe that the US is planning on taking away our cars? How do you expect people to get to work? Using our great public transportation?

Well I don't see the problem with... oh yeah that's right.

Sucks to be you guys. Smiley: cool

Well, we know Gov. Christie isn't planning a 2016 White House bid.

Bloomberg wrote:
New Jersey Governor Chris Christie is seeking expanded background checks for gun purchases and parental consent for minors to buy violent video games as part of his response to the school shooting in Newtown, Connecticut.

Christie, a first-term Republican seeking re-election, also wants to ban purchases of the .50-caliber Barrett rifle, and to make it easier for doctors and courts to commit “potentially dangerous” people to mental-health treatment against their will. His proposals come a week after a task force he created in January released 50 recommendations to reduce violence.

Hey, if someone is committed enough to plunk down $10,000 just to off someone, then they probably deserved it.

He would have my vote. Even though I would rather have Clinton to win, being from TN, I would rather vote for him and have my vote count towards something.

My views have been consistent on these forums. I am and always will be an independent.

Yea, Alma's always leaned left on some issues. Just don't ask him to rationalize them, because that's where it all gets fucked up.

Fairly easy as it stands. The reason most borderline mentally ill people are on the streets is that it's expensive to house them and the private mental hospital business isn't as profitable as the private prison business. So we just wait until they commit crimes and that problem sort of fixes itself.

Yes, you should have a high level of logic and understanding before asking for an explanation or you will be lost in translation. Good point!

Prove the point that people say that as a fad, but can't back up their claims. My explanations aren't flawless, but if anyone fails to understand then there is some unclaimed fault of the reader.

Sounds pretty subjective... If you have a claim, you must provide objective facts to substantiate it. I can easily say "Your inference is rather clumsy", but that doesn't mean anything.

Is two "a lot" to you? Seems more like a "couple" to me. I apologize if you feel pressured to back up your claims on an argumentative forum on the Internet.

That's why I ask. Now I know two questions is "a lot", which is just one more than one question. It only begs the question on why you would participate in a disputatious forum if two requests for two claims that you made is "a lot". Seems like a misjudgement to me.

It's definitely an interesting monologue by Protein, the point of it is eluding me though.
