Oh yeah?

Police say a package found in central Auckland sparking a full emergency response is no longer being regarded as suspicious.

Defence personnel removed the item from the scene for further examination after a concerned member of the public reported the find on Queen Street.

Martial law, citywide lockdowns were considered unnecessary, and ridiculous claims of imminent terrorist armageddon in the media were also absent.

Both policemen at the scene apologized for the inconvenience and entertained the crowds that had gathered on what was an otherwise uneventful afernoon in downtown Auckland with the latest in new fangled pursuit vehicles.

Also. It rained today. Which it hasnt done for ages. And ages.

It's always raining somewhere in the US Smiley: wink Usually it's Seattle.

This morning's news coverage included a story about 'One Fund'. A donation fund set up by Boston Mayor to gather together and disperse donated monies after the bombing. Apparently, these funds donated after tragedies are causing some disagreements among affected parties.

As part of this mornings story they interviewed a family member of one of the Aurora CO shooting victims. Apparently the money donated to that tragedy wasn't ear-marked all for the victims family. The complaint by this person in the radio program was they had advocate and fight for 'their' money while they were still grieving their loved one. Apparently others thought the money should go towards mental health support (this was the loon that thought he was The Joker and shot up a movie theater that was airing the newly released Bat Man movie)

We are a greedy species......

So on a serious note here.

Have the investigators found who dropped the other bombs yet? I mean one bomber is dead, one is in custody, 2 bombs went off, and the bomb squads reportedly found others...so who are the guys who dropped those bombs? In the photos we see the 2 suspects had one bag each...where did the other bombs come from?

I was under the impression that the other "bombs" weren't actually bombs in the end, and there were only the two that went off.

Yeah, usual Day One poor information and reporting. There were no other confirmed devices and the supposed explosion at the JFK Library never happened.

Ahh so the media was incorrect about the events taking place. Interesting. Wonder if they could have been wrong about anything else that day or the next.

Such as when they initially reported the FBI had a suspect is custody after they found the images on the security cameras?

The take-away from it all is to just turn off the TV and wait a day to find out what actually happened the day prior.
