Is it? I have no idea if this is serious or not.

Sort, of, actually.

Edit: Enemy of the State starts similarly, with a little less randomness.

To make a long story short, I don't take any responsibility for anything I post here. It's not news, it's not truth, it's not serious. It's parody. It's satire. It's bitter. It's angsty. Your mother's a *****. You like to jack off dogs. That's right, you heard me. You like to grab that dog by the bone and rub it like a ski pole. Your dad? Gay. Your priest? Straight. **** off and let me post. It's not true, it's all in good fun. Now go away.

Depends if it's "wild wild west II" or "men in black IV". One way you're definitly more doomed than the other. Mainly due to rateings.

Some time last week I was doing a forum search for a specific topic, and the results yielded a lot of Joph posts from long ago. Something strange happened as I was searching through them. I was looking at them all and suddenly around 2008 or so they all were rated GOOD.

Dafuq! I thought I broke the forums.

A truly great job but 5 out of 10 I'm afraid Smiley: clown

It lacks what would take it from functional to what I would personally consider cool (I have bad taste)
  • Glass shelves with Neon strips in
  • Running water somewhere to create the correct ambience
  • Foliage
  • Caged Wombat

There's plenty of running water! both the main computers there are water cooled, all sorts of water, see?

I apperently don't have a picture of the inside of the secondary PC, but it looks similar.

And the wombat is free range. Right now he's livving up on the new shelves. Screenshot

Folliage, eh, I'll have to pass on that on account of the whole allergic thingy. I like to keep my foliage safely under water in the aquarium where it can't get me!

no glass shelves or particularily large neon strips, but I totally demand a recount on the other bits!

A sufficiently large cash bribe and 20 minutes and we'll see about that...

Honestly Kao, I'm a little bit disappointed. I had thought that if you rebuilt your desk you would just merge it with your PC's and make one big cockpit like whole out of it.
Actually, I half expected you to just have a cockpit there anyway.

Technically, there is a cockpit there. The little black box under the monitor is actually one of these: http://www.saitek.com/uk/prod/fip.html

I still need a few more of those, but they are spendy little buggers so the fleet grows slowly. too many other competing hobbies. I also have the switch panel and the autopilot multi function panel, but they aren't plugged in at the moment because they were in the way of the speaker rewire. (the middle and bottom modules of this:

Denied! Free range Wombat is not caged. I like mine where I can prod it in safety. I will up your score to 7 out of 10 mind you ... Smiley: nod

Don't believe it. I have it on good authority that a large bribe and 20 minutes were given to bring the numbers back, and you see how well that went. Smiley: mad

1. I cheated and that picture is about 20 seconds after I finished the rebuild of that PC
2. good dust filters on the case, large 230mm fans which move lots of air but not as much dust, and water cooling requires less air crossing the board itself and generates less dust.

Missed this.

He's doing a lot better. Been back to work for a few weeks now. He still gets tired out pretty quick and sometimes he gets shooting pains that are leftovers from having part of his brain removed (who knew?). I'd say by this time next year, the only way we'll really remember all this is because he has a huge scar down the back of his head now.

Make him get a "cut along the dotted line" tattoo on the scar. With the little scissors.
