Neither. I'd say that attempting to punish everyone because they *might* commit a crime is not only moronic, but is in abject violation of the most basic principles of a free society.

Exactly, felons should be allowed to own guns.

Just adding ingredients to the gun-law soup....

Our law-makers did indeed pass this bill that essentially shields any gun owner data from freedom of information requests.
