Look at the crime! The horror!

Life is hard in upper class bedroom communities.

Really? Look at the location of the report above the circle in the first picture.

I spent a year living in Naperville, IL, which is not Atherton-rich, but is still pretty upper-class. In that year, I had 2 people report me to the police. Once for suspiciously putting a letter into a public mailbox. Another time for waiting 5 minutes at an intersection for the Walk light.

Oh, and once when I was 12 (and in a more average suburb), I was riding bikes with a friend, and a cop pulled us over. Then, a second squad car showed up, for back-up. They stopped us for suspected truancy. It was a school holiday.

I spent a year living in the heart of downtown Naperville and was reported zero times. You must just look seedy.

Also, people were probably more worried about the dinks emerging from the Lantern or whatever that dump was called.

You just look harmless. I imagine you could walk around with an RPG and people would just assume you had permission.

I'm more than harmless, I'm a do-gooder. One time, I reported a potential terrorist who was messing with a public mailbox.

You know you have to push the button, right?

I once had a cop shine his spotlight on me, point his gun at me, and then direct me out of my car via bullhorn. My crime? Parking in front of my house. Gotta love the La Mesa Police.

Naperville? I knew some people here were from Illinois, but I had no idea that if I mentioned Warrenville it would actually mean something.

Yes. Because we all know that police only make stupid mistakes act like pricks to people of color.

Because I nixed my initial response of "The PoPo's always puttin the brothers down!" because I decided that making a follow up semi-racist joke wasn't really that funny after all? If that's being socially inept, then I can live with that just fine.

I wonder if FPSRussia is selling off his weapons now that his supplier is dead.
