Technically, I'm giving up ice cream for lent. Not because I actually am but because my mom gives up sweets during lent and I see her once a week at my sisters house for game night (Cataan, rail games, etc). Ice cream is usually served, but we all go without during lent so as not to be pricks eating ice cream in front of our mom. Since that's the only time or place I eat ice cream other than birthday parties, it means I don't eat ice cream at all during that time period. Which really isn't that much of a sacrifice given that I wouldn't normally be eating ice cream anyway except that they put a bowl in front of me each week. So, um, what was I saying?
