That's heavy.

There's that word again. "Heavy." Why are things so heavy in the future? Is there a problem with the Earth's gravitational pull?

I would also point out that Beyonce has 42 million "Likes" on facebook, and is currently the 11th most followed musician on social media.

But that's probably just 4 million inconsequential black people who listen to "niche R&B" music, each creating 10 puppet accounts to get her extra likes.

Oh, for fuck's sake. Why are we arguing pop music with a reclusive middle-aged IT engineer?
I thought gbaji was a punk-kid 30something.

Not recognizing a Beyonce song when it's played on the radio stations you listen too doesn't mean she isn't played, it just means you're not into pop music. It's ok, my fiance constantly listens to pop stations when we're in the car & I don't know whom half the artists are & very rarely recognize most of the songs, but that's because outside of Movies, TV, & TV commercials I'm not exposed to much of it. Being that there are no rock stations in the Boston area any more, I don't listen to the radio, I listen to Pandora. Occasionally I'm exposed to new music there, but none of it is pop as all my stations tend to be a mix of punk, rock, & alternative.

The sound during her performance wasn't great, but the performance itself was pretty good. Certainly better than the awful Aerosmith/Britney Spears **** they threw at us a few years ago. Also, I apologize, your dislike of Beyonce is probably much less related to your racism that it is to your politics.

Hope that helps, Gbaji.
