And, as I learned around 9:30 this morning, it's a three-day weekend to boot! What'chu drinking?

I currently have a delicious Heart of Darkness in hand. Later, I might have a White Russian.

Edit: Consumption of alcoholic beverages impairs your ability to properly enter forum tags.

It's not a 3 day weekend for me, because my company hates black people.

I've actually been into wine a bit lately, I've got 3 bottles at home, not sure which one I'll get into. But I'll likely have a glass or two this evening.

I'm in Canada, but all my clients are from the states, so it'll be a quiet day at least.

No 3 day weekend here, unfortunately. We got some back pay because we settled our new contract (which included a 1% raise)... I am now considering preordering ni no kuni and buying a PS3 but not sure. I may just want to be somewhat responsible with the extra money... but probably not.

Other than that, my gf has said she'd like to drink and watch TV tonight so I will probably grab some beers and play some XI. Either that or I will go haunt pubs alone with my giant tome of a book, The Arcades Project, which I have been working on lately. It's heavy as hell and dense to boot but enjoyable to read despite all that.

Also that heart of darkness beer looks good. I'll probably have to settle for a Siren

My office is open on Monday, but I secured the day off by pointing out I was signed up to run (walk/crawl) in a 5K sponsored by our biggest client. So I'll be representing my office, and I get to sleep in to boot.

I have to work Monday, but it will be a slow day.
This is my drink currently. I've been trying different hard ciders out. Strongbow, Original Sin and Woodchuck are some others. It's a nice change from beer.

I'll be off Monday, but that's because I'm on leave of absence for the husband guy.

The only hard ciders I've had are Woodchuck and this one. I found both to be almost too sweet.

Cigar City makes a really good cider, if they distribute in your area.

They're all seven day weekends for me and the kids. Nexa, who works for the state here in the worker's paradise naturally has Monday off. Since all we do lately is play Minecraft, I think we'll probably do that on Monday.

I've got my new trex 450 helicopter kit here to play with. That and a computer to rebuild on the secondary PC. it's getting the old socket 1366 Core i7 that was in the main. I'll probably redo the water block loop at the same time with the leftover quick disconnects from the rebuild on the main. Anyone want to buy any water cooling quick disconnect fittings by the way?. Anyways, it's a 4 day weekend for me too, since this was my Friday off too.

It's too cold to venture outside for anything else though.

I wish Cigar City distributed further, they make some seriously good beers and I'd love to try ore of them. (Especially the Cucumber Saison, if they make it again).

Snow, cooking (Goulash, thank you for asking), a movie with Mrs Nobby, no booze (I quit 2 years ago), and mixing a couple of songs in my home studio.

And getting ready for my retirement in a few weeks. ;-)

Just make sure you stay inside your house on your second day before retirement. You know what happens if you don't.

I don't really get Monday off, but I am going out of town for work. It's kind of a break. Get to visit a manufacturer. And Tuesday I get to go to an Automation Fair in Chicago. Actually going to be my first time being in Chicago, since Airport layovers don't really count.

So it's close to a four day weekend, but I get paid for it!

"Mrs. Nobby?" When did you tie the knot?

Apparently my drink last night was Jameson. I didn't get any homework done, but I did discover "The Only Way is Essex." Basically, it's The Hills meets Jersey Shore with English accents. I enjoyed it while inebriated. I have yet to find out if I enjoy it sober.

Now I am procrastinating instead of transcribing more reports. I should get back to that....

I heard over the radio "The Jets" this evening, and perked up like a badly abused yet pathetically hopeful dog, then remembered that the football season ended for me a long time ago.

So instead of spending all my money irresponsibly on a PS3.. I spent all my money irresponsibly on several HP Blavatsky books, a couple Eliphas Levi books, a bunch of art supplies, and, somewhat responsibly, bought some clothes for work.

Also, this thread is taunting me. Want it to be friday, not monday. Monday sucks.
