Just show them James Nachtwey photos. Beautiful photos for sure but also guaranteed nightmare material. No whitewashing, prettifying, undermining or devaluing there. Just lots of haunting photos of people who are all dead now.


Edit: On a sidenote, Peter Jackson must be annoyed that this is a good 10 years too late to record material for Mordor. Right around the corner from New Zealand as well.
