I'm making a white style flatbread pizza for couch dinner. We have some beer and wine and pudding and plan to watch a movie. I may or may not still be awake to watch the big ball fall on my television - it's just not going to be the same with out **** Clark.

Who's going to be huddled in Times Square tonight?

Whatcha putting on the pizza? My favorite for a white style pizza is chicken, sliced tomato, with some fresh mozzarella, garlic and basil. Not a ton of the cheese; just enough to accent the other items. Sometimes I throw a thinly sliced shallot on there.

I don't know. Basil almost for sure as the hubby asked me last night if I had enough for a pizza. He really likes fresh mozz too so there will probably be some of that.

I picked up some cipollini onions at the farmers market last summer. I think the guy said they were actually a shallot. Anyways, they were muy delish on white pizza, though they'll not likely be found again in these parts until next season.

I'm supposed to pick out a movie...Smiley: confused

Our plans were initially to go to my sis-in-laws tonight, but her and family are all flued up too. I'm just as happy to stay home.
