Considering the amount of effort the Romney campaign has put into painting Iran as a threat with which diplomacy would be impossible, they have to be quite unhappy right now. Especially since there isn't nearly enough time before the next debate for damage control.

I'll be interested to see if they change tune or not, since both stances could have big ramifications.

A tactic designed to undercut Romney's bid because they're afraid of him.

I'm voting Romney, now.

I can see how these talks will go...

Iran: Stop sabotaging our labs and let us make our bombs!
US: *trollface*

I forget, are we supposed to want one-on-one negotiations, or multilateral?

Clearly those filthy muslims have chosen this time to directly interfere with the US election because they favor Obama. Christ isn't it obvious that Obama is in bed with the Muslim Jihadists. This was planned by the Obama and his Muslim brother Ahmegnejkxgfeuiw. or however the @#%^ he spells his Muslim @#%^ing name.

I'm ok with negotiations, so long as the negotiations are short and too the point. We already know Iran negotiates in bad faith and flouts the opposite ofeverything they ever have agreed to. All they are trying to do is buy time. So our negotiations should simply be: "the nuke site, or the regime. pick one and let us know by tomorrow " Anything else and we really might as well not bother because even if they agree to something they won't stick with it, and anyone who believes that This time is different than the dozens of previous times at the table is kidding themselves.

Interestingly enough this has been getting a ton of play in Pakistan, pretty much all sympathetic, which has now caused the Taliban to make all sorts of new threats. The Taliban clearly is a problem, Muslim countries, not so much.

Actually, from the simple research I've been able to do, that's not really a major issue in Iran. The girl who got shot for speaking out, was shot, by extremist rebels, not a government entity of any sort, in a country with somewhat strong ties to the US.

You're basically making a very offensive blanket statement about an entire area of the world, and an entire religion, which, in it's far more common non-extremist form, is actually quite peaceful, because of some isolated events, that only seem more common, because of news coverage.

Also, I may be reading that wrong, but did you just say not having Milosovic around is a bad thing for anyone? Because that's how it looks to anyone with basic reading comprehension skills.

I was throwing those trolls around and got one in the light fixture where it promptly started to melt. My parents rescued it, but after that my sister was terrified of the melted troll. I probably told her that if she touched it her face would start melting or something.

Good times.

Internet "trolling" originally referred to fishing "trolling"; that is, dragging a piece of bait through the water to see what bites. The connection to folklore/fairy tale beasties came later. Smiley: schooled
