Before I read your second sentence, I thought you were going to suggest that the state make money by having inmates grow the pot that they would regulate and sell.

Well, I suppose it would depend on if pot legalization would also include pardons for currently incarcerated non-violent pot farmers.
If it doesn't, I don't see why not!
