I remember experiencing an earthquake once, when I was 10 or so. I thought it was funny how the glass of water on my nightstand shook and excitedly told my parents about the whole thing. It probably wasn't as fun for them considering they suddenly had an excited kid around in the middle of the night.

I missed that, though apparently some in the area felt it. I didn't even feel last year's East Coast Quake, either.

I felt the east coast quake last year down in Georgia, but I was down to the last 20 minutes at work and leaning on my desk, such that circumstances were exactly right for me to feel those faintest of faint vibrations. I thought I was going insane, until I was in the car after I left the office and they reported the earthquake on the news. Then I went "Ohhhhh."

I felt it. The Boston Fox affiliate broke into "Extra" a proceeded to interview their friends via cell phone to get "perspective on it".

It was a train wreck.

Little earthquakes are fun. The only thing they break is that ugly dish you 'inherited' from your great aunt; and as a bonus you get to go surfing without the drive to the beach.

Maybe it was a mistype, and it's supposed to be "Man Battles Earthquake". It's the touching story of one man's epic battle to save his home from the ravages of nature.
